One of the most hurtful things that I realized this season I'm currently going through is if I'm willing to lose family members and siblings because my family are Catholics and that religion is work based not fully putting faith in God alone yes I'm scared of their reactions and losing relationships with them especially with my parents but losing jesus is even more terrifying I'm stuck please pray for me 😭💔

I hardly write comments but you touched my heart. Dearest, the Lord will not separate you from your family. I, myself, was raised in the Catholic church and my family members are hard core Catholics. When I started feeling 'hungry' for more..more relationship with the Lord He made it that my family saw the transition and the work that the Lord was doing in me before I even told them. Although, I didnt flat out tell them what/how I was feeling inside, I didn't keep my whereabouts a secret. For example, if I am going to be out for few hours for Bible study and fellowship, I d let them know. When I used to visit other churches, I told them abt my experience. When they experienced heartaches, I prayed with them, quoted scriptures ect. So it became apparent to them that something was happening and by showing them the true picture, the Lord allowed them to be prepared emotionally while I was transitioning. Dont be afraid! The devil will put fear in you and try to have you disobeying God. Look at it this way, it is not like you are abandoning them. You are just chosing to worship and have a relationship with God differently than them - that's all. In fact, every now and then I take my mom to church and assist mass with her -- to keep her company. I go to my new church first though loool 😁 and she is just fine!!!
@@newchapter4339 yeah but it's hard bc we have to tell them that the catholic church is not biblical how did you tell your family? Especially if they're really passionate about the virgin mary and saints 😥

I truly thank you for the word. This whole word was for me and have opening my eyes and gave me confirmation on what I need to do. I was never born to stand in the crowd but to stabs out and step into the purpose that God and Jesus has for me. Again I thank you for the word!!!!!
Sobering - we must discern what to do with our time
JESUS: “If I were to testify on my own behalf, my testimony would not be valid. But someone else is also testifying about me, and I assure you that everything he says about me is true. In fact, you sent investigators to listen to John the Baptist, and his testimony about me was true. Of course, I have no need of human witnesses, but I say these things so you might be saved. John was like a burning and shining lamp, and you were excited for a while about his message. But I have a greater witness than John-my teachings and my miracles. This message completely came at the perfect time as I've been feeling low in spirit, having trouble discerning the gifts that God gave me and how they translate into my calling in life. God called me out of a relationship and friendships abruptly. It didn't make sense to me and I wasnt ready to let go. I knew their reactions would be unfavorable and I was concerned with what they would think and feel. But I care more about what God thinks. I know my obedience will be rewarded by getting closer to God and His purpose. We have to be willing to lose it all!

I filmed a testimony where I said that I have pushed God aside because I was trying to live my best life telling myself I'm still young and I would eventually give my life to Jesus when I was older and Satan took my voice away while I was filming...
