Shaloub never received the recognition he deserved before Monk
He was around a long time before anyone knew him. I think his first film was Quick Change, which was directed by Bill Murray... released in 1990
The lawyer should have his own movie.
Damn right!
Better call Saul
Or maybe a whole series where he plays an eccentric police consultant with OCD?
@@franciscoleventhal3688 I thought he was a detective
MONK
Masterfully written.
I cannot believe this very man acted as MonkAmazing Actor ❤
That moment when she realizes Ed knew she was cheating on him all along and he still was willing to take the fall for her. That's why she killed herself.
The movie (or at least Ed's internal narration) suggests that it had more to do with being pregnant with Big Dave's baby.
She also might have realized that Ed DID kill Dave, but thought it was out of jealousy or revenge.
@@jamesmaxwell1940 We don't know if she knew she was pregnant.
Such a great movie. Expertly acted with an equally worded story line and to add to the dark and dismal gloomy mood being shot in black and white!
Brilliant
