- Food Halls are taking over in Las Vegas. But, are they better than a buffet? Block 16 Urban Food Hall is the Cosmopolitan and was one of the first food halls in Vegas. Today we head out and try almost every vendor within the hall.

Hi Dani! Awesome video & review as always. I haven't spent too much time in the Cosmo but after this review I will definately check out this food hall. We will be in Vegas the last week of August. Can't wait to try some of this food out!!! Thanks for the great review!!!

Thank you Dani for the Hattie B Review! I'm going to Vegas in April and I wanted to go to Yardbird, but when I saw they wanted $76 for 1 whole chicken, i said no thanks! Hattie B will definitely be my choice to satisfy my fried chicken craving without taking out a big part of my spending budget!
Thanks for sharing Dani! we did like it there, we stayed at the Bellagio in may. and stayed pretty close. Paris, MGM park, New york New york and Planet Hollywood, but really liked Aria! I did watch Adam woo with you! that was a great vlog!

Great video, My daughter loves the Cosmopolitan (me not so much) food did look good.. Food hall/courts seem to be the new wave in vegas.. the good old buffets are hard to beat though, mainly for value and selection.. maybe ceasers should wake up after just raising their prices
I love buffets as well. It said to see the budget friendly buffet being phased out. The gourmet buffets are just out of my price range for the way I eat. But I'd love to try one.

Hattie B's is fire! I love the whole Block 16 concept. When you think about it, it really has transformed eating in Las Vegas, and made the traditional buffet obsolete. Look at how many hotels have gone this route - Aria, Resorts World, the Fremont...The only miss on Block 16 is seating and the lack of a digital ordering system.
I know! I go back and forth on food halls or buffets but I saw the new Durango hotel is adding a hall and a new one popped up in a "local" spot. I think the Rio is in talks of replacing the Buffett with one too. Sad about that one tho.

Brooklyn Bowl and Jollibees have great chicken. But yeah Hattie B’s pretty delicious!

Got the cinnamon roll from District last December. Highly recommend. Won't be going back to Vegas though, so enjoy one for me

Hattie B's is amazing! Every time I am in Vegas for work, I make it a point to go there and get their 'Hot' level chicken tenders! So, So, So good!

Food Halls taking over from the Buffets.
Could be the casinos getting away from the vile Culinary Union control.
The Culinary Union could put massive pressure on the casinos by threating to shut down the Buffet.
The casinos now just rent out space in the food hall, and it is up to the individual restaurants to deal with the union.
The casinos have rid themselves of a major union problem. But the visitors now have to pay thru the nose for food.
Ah I see. What a bummer.

Hi Dani, the fried chicken did look really good. My only complaint would be could that food hall be any LOUDER? I almost turned on the closed captioning trying to determine what you were saying. I might have to stick with Cousin Eddie's best buck forty nine buffet, but I am guessing the price has gone up 😁 I'LL HAVE SOME OF THE YELLA, AND DON'T GET CHEAP ON ME! 🤣
It was so loud! I almost didn't want to post it since the audio was horrible. Even after spending about an hour editing just the audit to get the background noise down. Yikes. I'll take some of the yella hahahaha so good.

Hi guys! It does look good but I hate lines and noise. I am old school buffet. The Rio had an awesome one, way back when. I dont even know if that hotel is still there. I miss the 90s vibe of Vegas.

Block 16 is legit… I actually prefer food halls versus buffets, I think the food is fresher for one and you can always go multiple times during your stay and get something different every time.
I go back and forth on buffet or food hall. But Hattie bs was excellent. Good price for the amount of food too.

That Food Hall is way too Noisey, and the prices are pretty steep. But what are you going to do ,that is Bidenomics for you!!😬 Nice Video!

True. Fancier/pricer foods tho so I kinda get it.
Florida is know for a lot but food ain’t it. I don’t consider it the south anymore

Food halls suck. Portions are smaller and they're much more expensive a good buffet. Just corporate greed
