I live in the suburb of Yokohama. As you mentioned, Yokohama is an underrated place. Most foreign tourists do not know of Yokohama. Yokohama is a second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, bigger than Osaka in population.. But, foreign tourists do not add Yokohama to their visit lists. From a tourist point of view, Hakone is much more popular than Yokohama even though these two cities are in the same prefecture. Hopefully Yokohama will be on the bucket list of the foreign tourists in future
I can never get over how clean and orderly Japanese cities are. It’s my idea of what the future could be but Japanese people have it right now. Love Japan 🇯🇵
