It’s actually crazy, in Kylo’s comic Rey feels Ben turning to the dark side from across the galaxy, years before they even meet...and in the forest on Starkiller Base, in the novelization of the movie Kylo says *”It is you”* when she catches the Legacy lightsaber, so he’s also seen her long before their meeting but probably with her face covered like she was in the beginning of TFA on Jakku so he wasn’t sure until that moment that she was the one from his dreams and visions...wouldn’t it be crazy if their first force bond wasn’t actually the one in TLJ but one that happened a long time ago for a few seconds while they were both unaware of it and that’s when Ben first caught a glimpse of her...so the *“It is you”* later in the forest would make sense considering Rey would have been more unaware of a prior force bond than Ben since the force wasn’t awakened in her at the time... The sequels were all over the place, but when it comes to the bond between these two I honestly think that was the only thing that was thought through and planned from day one...the whole concept and execution of the “Dyad” is incredibly done.
Watch the video again: it is. Even if they came up with the idea of the Dyad at the last minute, the whole trilogy is about Rey and Ben. It was clear since the beginning they were connected somehow.
It was. The whole reason Rey became so good with the force so fast was because Kylo probed her mind and inadvertently formed the dyad, which essentially allowed her to turn his knowledge of the force and jedi training into her own. The issue is that RJ put barely any focus on that in TLJ which royally fucked the plan for the trilogy.
@@andythewarriorwang4755 I have to agree with you. I despise most of the sequels. However this video shows the best of it. Me and my friends have long conversations on what is bad in the prequels and the sequels but we enjoy the prequels more because we can enjoy the absurdity.

This edit really highlights that the sequels definitely had a coherent story and through line even if it sometimes felt uneven. Regardless of plans or preconceived stories they managed to tell one story all the way through that evolves, parallels, and foreshadows from beginning to end
The story between these two was epic, and honestly one of the best parts of Star Wars. If they had focused more on the two rather than nostalgia and a bunch of other side characters, then I think it would have made these films better. Their dynamic was just so good, but Disney were afraid to make a full on romantic Star Wars movies, so that’s why we only got glimpses of their romance. I guess it makes sense, I can’t imagine how much the man-babies would have cried if they had turned Star Wars into a romance movie.
Your tributes to Star Wars are THE best on the internet. I don't even know how to thank you enough for providing us with such beautiful and theatrical videos as they strike such a cord in all of us.
I’ve seen a lot of hate for these movies over the years, and I understand the criticism. But stuff like this is why I love them anyway. Not sure how unpopular that opinion is on the internet, though...
Wow...that was fantastic. The editing, the music, EVERYTHING was fantastic. I like how Rey’s “Rey Skywalker” is more...timid, but also happy. It’s like she’s grateful that they were there for her and let her be a part of their family, and is honored that she can carry on their name.
This one of the best videos combining the originals with the sequels. When Leia says "There's still light in him." I thought of Padme telling Obi-Wan "There's still good in him." And when Ben says he feels the pull to the light. I thought about Vader on Endor when Luke says "then my father is truly dead." Those words had stung him more than any pain Vader lived with. Then you see him him walk near the glass almost contemplating...The pull to the light.
Stop disrespecting the Sequels the Hate stops here what's done is done. But the fact that this Story is part of the Star Wars Saga is so wonderful to see. And this is only the beginning of a new chapter.
Darth Porg is a straight master. If you’re able to make a tribute of an op force law breaker god and underdeveloped failed character, throw in the inconsistencies of the Disney trilogy and add in the atrocity of the resurrected emperor, and still make me invested and hyped about Star Wars, then you’re a straight master. I always liked the idea of a Dyad in the force, because I first seen it in Knights of the Old Republic II between Kreia and the Exile, just like Revan and Bastila Shan.
*darth maul voice* Brilliant, brilliant... This kind of edits/tributes make me appreciate Star Wars as a whole a lot more, specially the ST. At the end of the day, it's just a beautiful story. The parallels between Kylo, Luke and Anakin were awesome and Rey being all the Jedi at the end and showing the faces of essentially all the Force ghosts was amazing too. Well done mate👌🏻👏🏻

Sure I take minute issues with some of the editing decisions hear and there but those complaints are nothing compared to the whole. I would not hesitate to call this a masterpiece. Bravo sir, bravo!
Really enjoyed this, it was so well edited. There are parts of the triology I didn't enjoy but l loved Rey and Ben and you showed there story perfectly. It's such a Shame there was a lot fan hate during the last two films because in many years to come the people who love those two together will prob be the only ones who'l still bother with the triology . Again brilliant job...loved it !
The ST is so weird. I think all the ideas are there, and personally I think it’s good. But if they would’ve made a drawing bored of it from the beginning with one vision it would of turned out better, because then it could of been smoothed out more. Because each movie was just 3 different visions of the story that had to be Frankensteined into one story. Maybe if Rey had met Luke more near the middle of the 7th film to be mentored till the end, and then in the 8th movie focused a lot more on turning Ben back to the light, and Rey learning she was a Palpatine and that a clone of Sheev Palpatine was behind everything near the end. Then the 9th would of made so much more sense. With the beginning of the movie focused on bringing Ben back to the light (succeeding) and the middle of the movie focused on building hope throughout the galaxy (instead of it showing up out of nowhere) to finally finish the Sith and their followers, with the ending being the climatic battle to decide the fate of the galaxy forever.
As someone who loves the sequels, I do agree they could've been better if they were planned out from the beginning. I am totally okay with Palpatine coming back. It makes sense in universe. He was obsessed with eternal life. He had contingency plans on top of contingency plans. You damn betcha he had a plan to save his spirit. But I have no problem with the galaxy showing up out of nowhere. It was one of the best moments, especially with the SW theme playing epically. It was pretty emotional. It's part of storytelling to always have the heroes facing conflicts. Even though we know Lando was gonna try to get more to join the fight, we didn't expect so many. I can only imagine his pitch: this is it, the last stand, the final battle, if we don't win this, we don't win period. I would've liked to see a bigger stormtrooper rebellion, something along the lines of Chris Trevorrow's script. I think that's something JJ could've borrowed heavily from. Imagine white stormtroopers, inspired by Finn, turning against the red Sith Troopers, kind of a reversal of the clone troopers turning against the Jedi. It goes along with George Lucas' "it's like poetry, it rhymes" style of storytelling. So much missed potential, but I still loved them. What we got was still good. Every storyteller would tell a different story. We just got JJ's and RJ's versions. I'm fine with that.
I am absolutely speechless. This is one of the best tributes to any franchise I have ever seen. This one video made me forget how bad the sequel trilogy was and made me appreciate it. Well done my friend.
Wonderful. Thanks for not tip-toeing around the fact that Rey is a Palpatine. It's a beautiful story. @@Lightguardian_HOH The criticism is justified. Besides saying the sequels having the most heart of the series is just a false fact. Thats why the lmao is a justified reaction. Daisy Ridley confirmed herself that Palpatine being Reys grandfather was just told her right before filming. So where is the heart in that changing things all over and not planning a whole story from the beginning? This trilogy ist just a big cash grab from Disney and a big middle finger to George Lucas and his vision of Star Wars. Of course hating around isnt the right way. But under a simple "lmao" I dont understand hate
I hate the sequels because of what they did to Anakin/Vader’s redemption/storyline, killing off Han, Leia, and Luke, their characterization was off (the real Luke wouldn’t have tried to kill his sister’s son just because he saw darkness in him, he’d try to bring him back to the light. Also, Han wasn’t his funny sarcastic self). And wtf was that shit about Leia defying gravity in space?? Wtf?? And they fucked up bringing Palpatine back as the villain and making Rey the chosen one over Anakin. Totally shitted on the first six movies. George Lucas shouldn’t of sold Star Wars to Disney. I’d thought before watching the Sequels that they’d be decent because I’ve enjoyed most movies made by Disney, but you could tell they weren’t sure how to proceed with the story without George Lucas. Anyways, with all that said, this is a beautiful tribute of Rey and Ben/Kylo. They definitely did have chemistry and a connection I just wish the writers/directors/producers knew what they were doing because they could’ve created interesting new characters (and killing the only decent character that fans actually liked wasn’t a good business move on their part).
Ur the best editor than I've ever seen, this truly is incredible, absolutely amazing, better than any sequal trailer disney could have ever made, u should be paid more than every disney employee, truly remarkable work you've done here.

As people are saying; this edit and others like it help people understand the depth that Star Wars does such a good job obscuring with spectacle and lightsabers.
The sequels as a concrete whole don’t work, but the Rey/Kylo dynamic was the best part and if the writers had given more focus to it then I’m sure the sequels wouldn’t have been so divisive

Explaining ALL of it and the TRUE sense about it! No matter what people say, i LOVE it and you portrayed here just WONDERFULY the reasons inside. DAZZLING job my friend! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Edit: Not to mention the JAW-DROPPING transitions! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is so good!
This video is spectacular! They are my favourite part of the sequels and its really nice seeing their story put together like this :)
Another masterpiece. Brilliant. Sequel trilogy has the most heart of all the series.
lmao
@@alipasakoc9208 Respect his opinion. The hate stops.
@@alipasakoc9208 You people are never happy and that the downfall of you and the fans good day.
@@Lightguardian_HOH Ah okay fine just ignore my arguments. Doesnt matter to you anyway. Youll just hate
This makes me a sequel fan. Very well done.
Ur the best editor than I've ever seen, this truly is incredible, absolutely amazing, better than any sequal trailer disney could have ever made, u should be paid more than every disney employee, truly remarkable work you've done here.
Excellent, I'm still crying
I never watched or understood the sw franchise but as i grew up the past couple of years they have taught me so much
Amazing tribute, the entire build up throughout the video was fantastic !
Your editing is amazing !! May the force be with you
In any era…if a Skywalker and Palpatine are born…shit is going to go down.
Dude!!! This is soooooo amazing. My props to you for doing such an outstanding job buddy!!! I love the new trilogy and the dyad is also a really cool part about it. Thanks for this buddy
Simply magnificent!
So much hate for sequels. I'm first generation of SW fans, I was 13 in 1977, and I LOVE all sequels and prequels!
Yes, finally someone whos is actually positive.
I'm speechless... this is INCREDIBLE. Great job.
wow this actually makes the sequel trilogy good great job man
one of the best video i have ever seen
I just stumbled across this, and I’m in love. This was so beautifully put together.
Anyone else looking for a palpatine tribute from all the movies and shows? This was awesome btw!
He’s too damn evil to be the main focus of a tribute video
@@JRF1004 Cleansing Fire by Dudu Films begs to differ.
Beautiful video, as always! Thank you!
STOP...you make the sequel's seem good
They ARE good.
@@gamestation2690 hell no
@@Alex-bz8lj I remember when the Prequels were considered the worst things ever. Are you "fans" EVER happy?
@@gamestation2690 yay I found someone else who likes the sequels
Thank you for perfect much music as well!!! Love it so much ❤️❤️❤️ I’m keep watching so many times ❤️❤️❤️
This is so beautifully edited! Thank you.
this whole video is better than the prequels
Bro i dont even like the sequels but gaaaaaaawdaaaaamn this edit was clean. ROS wasnt great but the Han and Ben scene gets me every time. keep up the great work man.
These edits are so good
wtf that was defo the best sequel trilogy tribute ive seen so far, well done mate!
This is insanely beautiful
This is absolutely fantastic!
*This editing is so good!* I love it!
The best video I have seen in a long time.
This was incredible and so moving! The use of short clips quickly changing then your cross fades and use of separate dialogue and that ending I am all the jedi was frankly done better than the main production! Beautiful work 😍😍
Wow, what an amazing video. Spellbinding.
As people are saying; this edit and others like it help people understand the depth that Star Wars does such a good job obscuring with spectacle and lightsabers.
¡¡¡¡¡¡Amazing!!!! Yess the dyad should have been the main plot!!
This makes the sequels better
Phenomenal, marvelous, outstanding.....
Rey is the most complex character as far as Jedi go in Skywalker saga.
The sequels as a concrete whole don’t work, but the Rey/Kylo dynamic was the best part and if the writers had given more focus to it then I’m sure the sequels wouldn’t have been so divisive
12:56 how dare you stand where he stood
Quick question: where did you get that scene in 7:22 where Kylo dons his new mask? I can’t find it in the released movie
