In the '50s and '60s young men had love affairs with their cars. You'd see them in their driveways tinkering with them, detailing them and making plans for dates & cruises. They showed them off at drag races, drive-in movies & drive-in restaurants. In the '70s, "American Graffiti" made the tailfin & chrome hot again and for the next 15 years every self-respecting daddy-o that could, got himself a classic ride. Then the Millennials came along. Strange, ill-mannered and tech obsessed, they have zero interest in attractive cars. They want tiny electric Beatles (yech). Today, classic car owners are a dying breed, every one of them a white-hair. When they're gone, we won't see these beauties anymore. Sad.
