You shouldn't assume that because *you* don't talk like this with your platonic friends, nobody does. Maybe it’s just the way people express differently, but I watched such an imbalance in this friendship. I listened to how the blonde expressed love for his friend, and how he held his friend way above him almost on a pedestal. The other guy expressed caring but it wasn’t the same. I get men express and emote differently than women, and it could be a case of how they as individuals convey their feelings, but it felt very 80/20. I cannot judge a friendship that I’m not a part of, but it’s how it came across based upon how the cards were answered.
