What you want them to just roll around in dirt and or have some greasy, dirty unprofessional ass hillbilly there to fuckup presentations? Why are all yall in these comments just bitching n moaning
They all have nice setups ,but , in my opinion the prices of these things are out of control. I don’t know how they expect us small independent guys to afford them!!!
for the tie downs on the white summit truck i think you might as well add some towards the top as well, bottom more important for sure but more tie down points never hurt
New to your channel and it is interesting. I'm from the Maine, USA. You guys need to do a series on the independent mobile mechanic & self built trucks. This is what I think the vendors need to see. We are the ones that make do, and getting it done. These trucks are show. If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life.
Someone count how many times cam said "yeah" with the last guy, I bet he can't recall a single thing from that sales guy😂🤣 As a fellow hdet with adhd nd hating bs talk, I feel your pain lmfao.
The trucks are so concerned about safety that I wonder if any work can get done with these things . Because, well , they're too safe to operate🤦🤯 very nice.❤
Hey, Norwegian Forklift tech. Looking to moving over to bigger equipment, and I’m wondering does any of the trucks have any decent way of dealing with waste oil? Not the big “oil changer” trucks with the fancy air pumps and all that. But something for a smaller truck or van. I’m tired of pouring oil from pans into cans and buckets.
You could rig up your own system. Put a 55 gallon barrel or what ever size is common in your area, somewhere on the truck or van. Run a hose to a custom fabricated box that’s somewhere easy to reach. If you need to run a pump of some sorts to get the oil in the barrel. Then you can either drain the barrel with gravity or have some one suck it out at your disposal site. Or just make a big ass funnel for the barrel and pull it off by hand.
My company plumbed up an air diaphragm pump with valves that controls inlet and outlet so you can pump into a 55 gal tank mounted on the top of the shelves. It’s ran off a standalone air compressor on the other side of the bed. Just hoses and valves. Nothing fancy but you get a sweet package.
I run a 550 with a full size Brutus , kinda disappointed they didn't even give you a tour like the other guys did . 1 year in and the aluminum is already corroded under the paint or wrap or whatever the hell they cover the body with .
The corporation is just a empty husk of what it used to be. Stripped down for every last dollar in profit. They don’t even care enough to make sure their product lasts. The bean counters have taken over.
Not a single truck like that in Australia. We all use Hiab style hydraulic cranes. Cheaper lighter and more versatile. Some nice fit outs there but unless it’s a mining company no one goes bigger than a 6 ton Japanese truck. If the parts are huge they can send them on a delivery truck & I didn’t see a single fridge. You won’t find one in Aus that doesn’t have a fridge for water & beer on the way home & the good ones have a little food computer area. & where were all the vices & wheel chock holders & freestanding awnings. Airpac welders are awesome but heaps more than one of each and your running both all the time to mostly use one, & if it goes down you’ve lost functionality. Interesting to see the different ideas though. I do like the pressurised cabinets, we don’t have that. Gull wing doors are good too for shelter instead of swingers. Your on site width is no problem, I get it if your doing road trucks. Cool thanks for putting in the effort to show us
Some people are lucky or skilled enough to get customers to pay ridiculous prices so they can buy all that crap. There some areas that I’ve seen if someone knew how to rebuild an engine as well as figure out all the electrical bull crap they use now on top of being able to pass welding certs they probably could do pretty well and have absolutely zero competition.

Don't ever send a guy in a suit to sell to the people who actually use these vehicles...Very different worlds.

Maintainer service beds are so damn awesome!
Agreed. The accessories are cool too
They are their Cadillac of Service Trucks!
They all have nice setups ,but , in my opinion the prices of these things are out of control. I don’t know how they expect us small independent guys to afford them!!!
I'm curious what are the cost of these machines on average
@@txtele 200 plus
There expect you to take huge loans with dogshit rates and live in debt indefinitely. They don't care as long as they get paid
You charge more and don’t get in debt. None of these corporations pay auto loans.
They don’t expect you to. They expect people who can afford them to pay that price and build another one

The black stuff on the front... is RHINO LININGS / spray in / on bed liner!
Those summit trucks are so nice!
The Summit built cab over Peterbuilt is sweet . Great video
Yeah it was awesome to see in person. Camera doesn't do the beast justice. Thanks for watching as always Terry! You the man.
Interesting. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
that cab over was unbelievable. I want it so bad and I'm not even a field tech.
I was going to say it’s pretty disappointing that IMT, palfinger, and knapheide didn’t even show up. That Brutus truck was incredible.
IMT for the most part provides bodies and cranes for other companies to install on chassis. All the profitability with less of the headache.

Some people buys sport cars, i would buy this

Interesting. Thx. What’s up with the guy grabbing the other guy’s head. Lol. In the last few seconds. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
shop i work at all the field trucks have summit bodys they are a nice body.

Are there any vids of your trucks?
Beautiful work trucks...
I would like a service truck with sliding tool box, remove box and take with you; and easy open doors. I would probably get two of three.
What kind of heavy duty mechanic can have a 35 ft truck that’s 8 inches off the ground hahaha.
Knapheide didn't even bother so show!
We'll reach out to them and see if they got anything they wanna show you guys.
Keep my tools from rusting in the cabinets if you can do that your on to something
How to order
How many decades of work to pay off those trucks? You'll never retire if you buy one lol
you mean lifetimes

Who’s buying these? Prices through the roof
Not a single unimog though, disappointed
Jeesh, what really blows my mind is that there’s actually people who can afford trucks like that!?? Pretty incredible equipment though!
Dream and be disciplined and you could be one of those people. It's not easy that's why not everyone can afford things like this.
Imagine what happens when it gets scratched or something breaks....
I mean going rate for a mobile mechanic is $150 per hour plus. You’ll make that payment in a day of work.
Maybe next time you can spend some time showing the trucks instead of the kid with the backwards hat.
