Did you notice that people who can travel through time had an ancestor related to an historical even : Roger Mac has Dougal as an ancestor. Brianna has Jaimie. I believe Frank could have travel if he had a gem stone : Black Jack is his ancestor. Claire must have someone, we dont know a lot about her family
I don't think Brianna's ability to travel thorugh the stones had anything to do with her being Jamie's daughter. It's Claire's bloodline that gives her that ability. The same thing with Roger, Gaelis is the one who passed down the ability for time-travel (even if she does it differently than the rest).

Place: they “come out” at the same place where they “came in”, if that makes sense (sorry English’s not my first language). Every time, the travelers wake up at the same place where they touched the stones 200 years in the future / in the past.

Man I really love the transition the 3rd time claire passes through the stones. You can really see that she is happy to be back. She finally felt home
