    Becky, you make things look so easy I want to make it all. I just ordered The George trimmer. I hope I can do it as easy as you make it look.

    That machine is similar to my ancient Innovis 1500D . Back in 2004 when I bought it , that was the biggest hoop size on the market. Great machine! It still works just fine, I updated to a Babylock with a bigger hoop size

    Here I am six months later and I have still not done the first embroidery. I am so confused. Do you NOT put the stabilizer, batting and fabric all together tight in hoop an snap all together? I need tutorials from begining to end on doing embroidery. Have you any?

      I did a beginner embroidery series a couple of years ago. See if this will help. th-cam.com/play/PLj9pWPqHpkzKtZg7V955ro3JruRNpTsYK.html

    Thank you Ms. Becky for getting and doing a tutorial on the 3600. I have the 3500 and been trying to figure out how to do the applique designs and was a little confused and a lot scared. Thank you for taking some of the edge off. 😉

    My biggest challenge when I started with machine embroidery was using the right stabilizer. Once I got past that I loved it!

    Oh, I see now how you pull the current thread and the next thread thru to just before the needle threader so you don’t have to rethread the entire process. You just need to pull the thread to the point just before the needle eye and cut the knot then thread the eye.
    I have the Brother Dreamweaver Sew/Embroidery machine and I wonder if my machine will do the tack down for embroidery.
    Love your videos and your very understandable directions. Thank you so much for your time making these great videos.

    Another option for light fabrics on a dark background is to cut the dark background out after your placement line before placing the appliqué fabric down.

    Listening to you on the comb machines I have to 🤣🤣🤣 cuz I specifically purchased mine for embroidery & the sewing side was extra. I couldn't do a multi needle for cost.

    How do you know which threads to buy? There are so many on Amazon.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There can be a lot of trial and error at first. But once you find a thread that your machine 'likes', then stick with it. Mine loves Isacord and DIMEs Exquisite thread the best. Madiera works ok, but there are other brands I have that break and shred horribly.

    What an excellent tip to add cutaway on see-through fabrics!! During the tack-down stitches, I just use white thread or light grey on everything. When it gets to the satin stitch part, I do switch the thread colors.

    Is that bobbin case tip the same for Luminare? Purple dot case for pre wounds?

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe so. That's why we got the extra bobbin case in the accessories. They don't tell you these things! I've had them in with my machine purchases for years and I never knew. lol I just googled the 'purple dot bobbin case' and everything came up that it's for embroidery with Brother & Baby Lock machines.
