  • Today's lesson is about the Malay word 'pernah' which can be loosely translated as 'have you ever'.
So technically the 'Never Have I Ever' game in Malay would be 'Saya Tak Pernah' :D

I enjoy these le sons and find them very useful. For this one, I need some clarification on Malay equivalents for hear vs listen vs hear of, each having a different meaning in English. Same goes for 'hold' vs 'touch' vs 'feel' (by finger or skin, the actual >sense< of touch.) Terima kasih

You should create a Pateron because some of us would like to support your work.

Awh thank you. I was thinking about it too but if I create Patreon, I'll have to create content that is limited to paying people only. I prefer to share the lessons with everyone. Unless if there's something I can do that is not lesson related, but I can't think of any now. But anyhow, thank you for the suggestion and the vote of confidence. I appreciate it :))

Hello, thank you for asking :) I don't teach Malay one on one anymore as the workload is too much for me. I hope you find a good teacher.

    Sister
What's the difference between tengok and nampak?
    Thanks .

    • @sierralisse8897

Hello, tengok is to watch something. A more active kind of action. Nampak is to see something, so it's more passive.
I gave some examples in this video and I also talked about other human senses: th-cam.com/video/ByOZ89cBvt0/w-d-xo.html
