I found a 2016 Golden Tee Pedestal in NY a few months ago for dirt cheap and it was gone in a flash, wanted to do the same thing, great job getting into it for little coin!
Yeah. This was lucky. Right time and right place.. the guy was emptying his storage and he had it in his truck and he didn’t want to take it home. So he dumped it. It also wasn’t powering on Becuase the cmos battery was dead and the bios wer set to “boot on power up”. So I’m not sure if he was thinking it might be broken , or what , but the one issue he said was the monitor and I was like, I don’t care, I’m running hdmi out to and lcd
🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, I must be crazy. I've already played it more then all the YTubers who own FF combined. And i didn't have to buy an adapter and some ethernet cords to make it work.
Rexer that is awesome! I will totally trade you my Arcade 1UP Golden Tee for that! It’s a fair deal! Just Remember to anchor the 1up to the wall because it wobbles a lot when you play it, and only look at it straight on because it’s washed out looking from the side angles. Other than that it’s great! 😂
Also, as long as you only like playing GT up to the year 2000, then you're good to go. Are we trading for the XL 1up GT? Because maybe i'll think about it if its the XL. 🤣🤣
There is a matrix out there that shows what Video Card and what IO and what Nighthawk motherboard you need. It was a small risk that this wouldn't handle it , since it was running 2016 already, but the main thing is the Video Card which in had a Zotac 740 . I also called GT Tech and asked if I would need to upgrade anything to run 2023 and they said that i shouldn't need to. I did decide to upgrade the Video card to a Zotac 1050 just in case, which will run it fine in 1080 . And i bought one for $67 straight from Zotac. So to answer your question to the best of my knowledge, you at a minimum need a LIVE version 2014 or better, but you can see from my build that the nighthawk was from 2010 it appeared, but the IO and Cabinet ID are important to allowing you to run these games. But the best thing to do is give GT your hardware specs and they will tell you.

The only golf game I enjoy is Tiger Woods 11 on Wii because the controls are perfect. Putting feels eerily realistic. Back when Wii was online you could play along with the actual PGA tour including real-time weather physics. In fact, it was so realistic that I threw out my shoulder while driving deep at Banff. Realistic sports injuries are so immersive...
@therexershow Nah, it's definitely funny. It makes you feel more like Tiger when you're injured. Then there's the bonus mini game where your wife is chasing your car down the driveway, throws a club through your window, and causes you to crash into a tree. It really feels like you ARE Tiger Woods. EA Sports: It's in the Game!

Hi…got a question I looking at purchasing a 2013 golden tee nighthawk and putting inside my multi cade that has a track ball…1st is this possible and 2nd should I be looking out for anything in particular?
Ummm , I’m not sure what you mean by using Nigjthawk hardware to make a multicade. What kind of multicade ? With what games ? You might as well get a pc and put it into a pedestal with whatever games you want. The Nigjthawk hardware is only useful for IT games and needs a CID.
@@therexershow I have a receipt master arcade that has a PC in it…my controls plug in the pc by usb…if a I buy a 2013 nighthawk with hdd cid and IO board would I be able to plug my existing controls into it
@@jay2533 if your trackball has a standard trackball molex connector (I think 9 slot I can’t remember ) then yes. If it’s a usb trackball, then I’m not sure. Doubtful. There’s two ways to connect buttons and trackball from the IO board, from the pins or from the edge connector. The buttons will work fine once you connect to the iO , but I’m not sure about the trackball

The GT 1up is the worst machine ever. It’s basically unplayable. Unless you like breaking your hand on the monitor screen and playing old crappy versions of the game.

@@dm8189 I believe it was on Facebook IT , through 2026 , but the updates don’t really matter anymore. It’s about keeping ITNet connected to legacy users. That’s all that matters to me. Missing out on 6 courses per year is not a big deal.

Still have 3 years left before they cut off. I’m sure eventually I will switch to PGA , but may not be for a while.
