Honor Killing is not ALLOWED in Islam. It is based on cultural traditions. Please read this:
Sheikh `Atiyyah Saqr, former head of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, states:
“Like all other religions, Islam strictly prohibits murder and killing without legal justification. Allah, Most High, says,“Whoso slayeth a believer of set purpose, his reward is Hell for ever. Allah is wroth against him and He hath cursed him and prepared for him an awful doom.”(An-Nisa’: 93)
The so-called “honor killing” is based on ignorance and disregard of morals and laws, which cannot be abolished except by disciplinary punishments.

Honour killing (dictionary meaning)-"the killing of a relative, especially a girl or woman, who is perceived to have brought dishonour on the family."
In India generally for marrying a man of her choice, disobeying the parents and thus hurting their honour.
Islam does not permit honour killing.
This woman is trying to frame her question in such a way that Islam can be made to look brutal to women.
Revenging killing of an innocent human being by awarding death sentence, which Islam permits and even accepted by Indian law, is not called honour killing by any dictionary meaning.

What this woman is asking about is revenge killing and feuding, not Honor Killing. The title of the video should be changed to reflect Dr. Naik's explanation of the justification of capital punishment (death sentence) for murder, rape and other crimes that destroy society, and that the family of a murder victim can ask for leniency and accept compensation (blood money) in lieu of revenge.

If a woman is committing fornication, then it's the court's job to determine the punishment. To punish the fornicator, you need a confession or 4 witnesses, even then it is 100 lashes, not death.

If it's like this, i would agree with dead penalty.. At least it can be scary enough for a person to avoid such horrible things.. BUT! The problem is that Islam is not practiced in such a way now and though history. Even a person who wants to leave Islam without corruption of anyone is in danger. This (fasting) is mustahabb for those who are not on Hajj.

(1) The circular setting arrangements for every people is considered to be the best setting arrangements because everyone one faces each other and that makes the sense in communication skills. (4 ) Circle is the only 2d shape which has only one centre at the most central part because it has same radius. This centre of Circle also denotes the unity of whole humanity and oneness of God.
(5)As we locate a dot with pen at centre in circle. Similarly we locate the surface centre of world map with a big huge dot i.e kaba
(6) we cover kaba with black cloth because black ink is the darkest color and hence the centre of Circle is identified very easily.

"Honour killings" is a made up concept and made up word. Islam does not recognise this concept. All death sentences are to be sanctioned by a Court and never by some individuals who feel their honour is hurt.

Anybody could have written the Bible and anybody could have written the Quran. It doesn’t give you the right to take someone’s life. The people that take this stuff to extremes are mentally ill. Common sense would say if you were going to devote yourself to a religion, it should be the oldest one known to man which would be a form of Hinduism and Buddhism which are both a way of life rather than religion. And what do they both center on? Treating your fellow human beings like you want to be treated and being the best person you can be.
