Seriously??? Y'all are blind
Seeing is believing, but sometimes it's all about perspective!
...and the worst sportsmanship ever, men or women.
@@danbotez1307 how so?
@@AncestryAnalysis Did you see the 2009 USO semi, and the 2011 USO & 2018 USO finals Serena was involved in ?
What an absolute comeback story of Serena Williams! She is a GOAT!!

Serena had a long career thats why she won 23 grand slams. Took her 18 years to win 23.
That is absolutely unbelievable isn't it!
you're forgetting the fact that she's 14-0 in grand slams doubles that she won alongside the 23 singles titles.
@@AC-ss5oyIm not talking about her doubles just singles.
@@AncestryAnalysisIt is indeed
@@marfu1119 im talking about both because she won both in the same career.
Soon this will be COCO GAUFF. Mark my words.
Coco Gauff is going places for sure, can't wait to see her dominate the tennis world!
WTF???? Serena is the biggest racist in all of tennis.
So sad that y'all fall for this crap.
Wake up sheep!!!

Margaret Court is the goat. Most slams.
@@user-mv7ej3nq5q better than Serena?
@@AncestryAnalysis numbers don't lie
@@user-mv7ej3nq5q do you really think she can live up to Serena though?
@@AncestryAnalysis how many slams each got?!
@@user-mv7ej3nq5q 24 and 23… they’re neck and neck!
She is all-time at best #3, after Steffi Graf, the women's GOAT, and Margaret Court.
Lmao 23>22 says otherwise! Your beloved steffi was already owned by the Williams sisters
@@Notifysender90 More simple-minded thinking.😂
1. Steffi and Margaret Court are the only players to have won a calendar-year Grand Slam in the Open Era. Serena NEVER achieved such a feat.
2. Total weeks at #1 :Steffi 377; Serena 319.
3. Year-End #1 : Steffi 8 ; Serena 5
4. Tournaments won: Steffi 107; Serena 73
5. Career win % : Steffi 90 % ; Serena; 84 %
6. Slams won/entered: Steffi 41 % ; Serena : 29 %
😄
Steffi dominates Serena in all categories.
@@danbotez1307 Sir your stats mean nothing to me if we aren't talking GS....I mean that is what determines the greats right? If all you have to say is a Calendar Slam then that's whack; great achievement though. We all know those stats meant nothing if Seles wasn't stabbed, so I will move from that. Serena already beat your fave as Venus already beat her twice. Davenport was pretty fair kicking her ass and Serena owned Davenport. Put Serena and Venus in Steffi's era Serena would have won 40 GS then!!!
@@Notifysender90 I guess you are simple-minded; that is, # of GS won is all that matters to you. Then, Margaret Court Smith with 24 GSs won is the GOAT.
Serena lost at 15 Slams in a row trying to get to # 24, and failed miserably. End of story.
@@danbotez1307 Sir you make no sense at all. We are talking about your Steff and obviously Court is number 1 duhhh....You resorted to all these numbers whatever whatever whatever....Simple minded is thinking Steffi is better than Serena is insane. To think that Monica never got stabbed and you're boasting about numbers that truly doesn't matter aside from H2H right? Like I said the Williams sisters already had her number and she damn sure was not winning 22 GS if they played in her era, but I can assure you that Serena would have had at least 23-40 GS
Compton or no Compton, she was reviled worldwide as the least classy player ever.
Class might not be her strong suit, but hopefully, her skills on the court are top-notch!
@@AncestryAnalysis Class is a prerequisite to greatness in any sport.
Yes she had terrific playing skills and was a remarkable gutsy player, for which she was rewarded with the highest earnings of any woman tennis player ever; thus, having her father look prophetically brilliant for his decision to have his daughters become professional tennis players. That in itself is a great story for a player starting her career from the harsh/scary conditions of Compton.
However, performance-wise she ended #3 all time.
The GOAT distinction goes to Steffi Graf which, while having won one less Slam event (i.e.. 22 vs. 23), surpasses Serena in all categories:
5. Career win % : Steffi 89.7 % ; Serena; 84.9 %
6. Slams won/entered: Steffi 40.7 % ; Serena : 29.1 %
Particularly revealing is the consistency factor:
Quarterfinal (QF) or better results from total Slam appearances: Steffi: 85.2% ; Serena: 68.3%; That is, nearly a THIRD of Serena’s Slam results have been exits before the QFs !
Justine Henin, the #3 highest earner all time and Serena's nemesis over 2003-2007, made a difference, since over the mid-2003 through 2007 time period she was the player that dominated tennis. Her H2H record vs. Serena at Slams is 4-3 in Justine's favor.
Later, Simona Halep, whose role model is Justine, emulated Justine by beating Serena in a memorable straight-sets Wimbledon final. Both Justine and Simona found the key to confuse Serena and counter her power-fueled playing style. Incidentally, Justine came from the Compton of Belgium (i.e., Liège)
Personally, I was impressed with Serena's winning the 2002 FO, which demonstrated that she was capable to change her playing style to win big on clay, something her sister was never able to do. However, after Henin beat her in straight sets in the 2003 Charleston final, snapping Serena's 2003 winning streak, I was appalled by Serena's graceless reaction: "I only lose when I play bad". Later, after the 2009 USO, 2011 USO an 2018 USO explosions of lack of sportsmanship, her legacy was severely tainted. In the US though, where celebrity trumps everything, she has been treated as the best tennis player ever.
I don't hate Serena, since she hasn't done anything to me. I respect her terrific performances against all odds. However, I try to put things into proper perspective.
@@danbotez1307 I agree, who would you like to see a video about next?
@@AncestryAnalysis Good. Glad we agree.
