Yeah…and who hired them with open arms while shit-canning anyone with dissenting views? Pretty sure it was Google. And who championed all this CRT-focused DEI, ESG crap? But of course this is the typical NPC mindset within companies like Google. Always focus on the ‘expendable’ entry level employees. Never question the powerful; Those running the actual company. Sounds like the cowardly ‘thoughts’ of a typical Neo-liberal PMC, good little order follower hoping that the boss ‘sees’ him or her and their ability to eagerly back stab, blackmail and or straight up lie about a fellow coworker if it means a raise. Pathetic. The very traits and values that are praised in these businesses. But of course…not Google’s fault. I’m sure that the DEI crap was just forced upon one of the most financially powerful and geopolitically influential businesses on Earth 😂

    • @TarsonTalon
      @TarsonTalon 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

They don't invest in the company succeeding, they're investing in the company failing, and getting government bailout money. Everything is upside down in this society, everyone wants to make money, but nobody wants to make things that actually give the money value, they just wanna sit on their butts and collect. Hence why currency will fail as a concept, because too much focus is made on obtaining and holding onto currency, instead of spending it so there actually continues to be something to buy with it. Too many selfish idiots in power who think they're smart because they can make a number go up.
Money is supposed to be lifeblood for the economy; hoarding up too much of it is equivalent of creating clogged arteries that eventually end in a stroke.

@EnglishAaron TH-cam won't let me link to the wiki entry, so I just copypasted the whole thing:
In the late 1990s, Canada broke up with the US. The federal government still provides free health care*. But you wouldn't think that Canada is a unified country with all the state militias operating border checkpoints and most other government services being run by corporations. The one thing that still holds the country together is the national lacrosse team, which dominates the world stage, beating Japan in the world finals three times in the last five years. The frozen north has declared independence from the colonialists and declared all of northern Canada an independent Inuit nation. It's not so cold here, (global warming) Polar bears have crossed with grizzlies, creating hybrid Mega Bears that now ravage the landscape. They accept federal funding/support as part of a peace treaty. They are keeping bears in the north as part of the treaty. The western side of the Alberta Northwest has broken away, becoming one of North America's oil giants and rivaling the free state/nation of Texas. Of course, biofuel can power modern 21C engines. But plastics still come from oil, and the murky future literally cannot suffice. Alberta Northwest is a close ally of the free state of Alaska and a member of the North Oil Alliance. Eastern Quebec has severed and tightened ties with the European Union and, with the help of Biotechnology and EBM, the regional government (derived from the maple syrup mafia) now has a monopoly on the global maple syrup market. Maple syrup is considered the highest of luxury goods in Europe. Here you will find the highest European luxury imports among the wealthy elite. Leaving the 'lower class American junk' to everyone else. Which leaves the industrialized areas of Winnipeg Ontario. Which frankly is amazing that they survived the nuclear fallout when Detroit collapsed. Toronto is now the second largest car manufacturing city in North America, after Mexico. Cheap American (often illegal) immigrant labor is abundant, and it is a popular stop for Nomads looking to upgrade their vehicles. Canada is still a country with incredible emptiness and a thin population adjacent to the NUSA border. The environmental devastation caused by decades of uncontrolled industry has made it a more frightening, barren wasteland than the endless forests of decades ago. The tree still exists, but the remaining plantations are jealously guarded.

I remember when digital news was first becoming a thing and people at news papers were getting laid off, they said then well don't worry this way there will be a bigger pool of news to read and people will get information faster with more accuracy all day every day. Well here we are almost 30 years later and now what you get is a story reported by one site then replicated 100x with maybe one sentence different from the original. So now you have a vast lazy echo chamber that's overpopulated its market. Not sure how any of this is surprising to people that report the "news" for a living. Guess they should have taken some econ/marketing classes along the way.

Ai won't take jobs in creative field, it merely level the playing field. If the Corp don't need you, you won't need them.
Some guy made esluna, 60mn of animation in 8month by himself, using traditional technique, it killed his hand. Next project he shift to 3d, because it's faster, cheaper and higher quality.
Now imagine unreal 5 real time workflow and AI on top. That give you a range of what would be possible. A small studio become competitive at these rate.
People are just bad at math and business. The problem now become marketing and developing a brand, with the discontent now, the period of fertile to experiment.

And if most of those precriminals happen to be from one side of the political spectrum, by then the people will have already lost any means of organising other than banging on their welded shut house gates like monkeys in a zoo - previewed during the pandemic in China.

So originally html was supposed to have "content memory", which was going to store data of the content creator, and every time someone would view it a micropayment would made to the creator, even if the content was copied over and over again. But the creators of the internet had to postpone it, at the time by one year, however they've never went back to it, even thought every one understood that without that system things might start going haywire. The system was based on backlinking. And since og creators didn't do it, it opened up space for companies like google to appear and build their business on backlinking. Also it opened up the space for piracy.

Because Hollywood is obsessing so much about controlling the message in more ways than one - there is nothing like that anymore. Oh .... you showed our trailer thats a takedown. So by the time I find out about movies I might want to see - after they have left the theater. Also, there a lot of missed opportunities - maybe they should have wide-released the first Dune in theatres before the second.

Learn to code? Or mine if trump gets back in! Seeing proven liars go? I really don’t care! The people I watch ,listen too? Are witty or talented in something I want to learn! These people have zero redeeming qualities to me! Clownfish? Watch and listen everyday! Good job!

google killed the access media just through the searches. I think TH-camrs like you have allowed people to avoid the mainstream media. You can find someone who you vibe with.

I don't know if 'friend' is the right word. We've never had a single conversation. However, I do see you as the kind of father I wish I had instead of the one I got.

Emotionally and mentally stunted individuals tend to have a problem accepting personal accountability so they find a scapegoat to blame for their failures instead of actually thinking like a mature adult that they only have themselves to blame. This accomplishes nothing and is a weak and poor excuse that people use who lack the maturity to acknowledge their mistakes or failures to use them as a lesson to learn from. This deflection shows poor critical thinking in a failed attempt to act like a victim for failing.

Something I've noticed guys, with the "pro" jurinalists. They can't spell and editors now don't really know grammar and English. I feel it's sort of a nitpick, and everybody makes a typo. But these are the "pros." Their product is buggy! And how can someone really know what they're conveying in typed words when they make error after error? It's the same when reading to acquire new info; how can someone possibly get what they're reading when they skip past thing after thing that they don't really understand? Words they don't know or someone else's error? It's impossible that they can.
I too realized that there was a surplus of those white collar workers, back when they were at the height of their Twitter high. The mouths were never critical workers, and their industry was already contracting and morphing into other things. Yes that ideology has decimated journalism and transitioned it into jurinalism. Not many people are impressed at all by press credentials these days. The writing was on the wall, and because you, me, lots of others can still read we are attacked. They destroyed it on their own. Not surprising from merchants of chaos and confusion!
How to say this, gently? All systems have limits by design. Those who rule over others never seem to realize that The People have grown ravenous until they are being eaten. Maybe you all will get it. The pressure relief valves have all been systematically shut off, and she's gonna blow!

You probably own more NVDA than you think through your 401(k) accounts.
Yahoo reports that Vanguard's big fund, VTSMX, which seems to own a piece of everything, has 30% of the company, but I find that number hard to believe.
