Thanks very much. I hope you find it helpful. Would love to see yours when they are done. Are you going to go with standard timber, or try something different?
@@magichandshobbies I’m not that guy, but I think I was going with TAP uniform Grey, citadel Mechanicus standard grey, or corax whit on stuff I was going to contrast paints.
I mean I know there's a difference between reality and a game miniature, but no one would ever make a door hinge that was anything other than black. Oil quenching is the OG anti-rust treatment, it was simple to do, and it leaves iron midnight black. This is why hinge-makers were BLACK smiths. Were you not to do this, your doors would not open after a fortnight or so.
Couldn't agree more about the vine painting! Good lord those things took forever!!!
It was worth it in the end 😁
I'm JUST ABOUT to start painting these, so I'm glad TH-cam recommended your channel. Thanks!

@@chalkdemon8019 Not a fan of contrast paints myself. But would be great to see how yours turn out.
Just subscribed. Love the blue and green door. Reminds me of castle greyskull. :)
Ohh you just said castle greyskull at the end right there. Hehe
Thanks - that was the inspiration.
Great video.
