Just wanted to touch base with you and warn you and other listeners of the dangers of OLD fireworks. I know you didn't buy any for this event, Miami did all that. Many people buy a lot and think saving them for next year is good to do. NOT!! Old fireworks are as dangerous as old dynamite and must be treated with special care or they can blow up in your face and hurt you badly. The safe and proper way to move or handle fireworks or dynamite is to find or make a funnel large enough to completely cover the entire set. Freeze them with Nitrogen until you are sure they are completely frozen hard as rocks in an icestorm. Now, and only now can you safely move them to a very safe place to destroy them safely. DO NOT try to light them off except to destroy them!! DO NOT REPEAT WHAT THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES DID LAST YEAR!! They didn't do this and PAID DEARLY FOR THAT MISTAKE. It was on the National News and frightened the ENTIRE CITY....
