In your intro I still wait for you to say "get out of debt", so glad you don't have to say that anymore!! Also love when Mr. Simple makes a surprise interruption 😂

Good video! Getting your sinking funds started is the most important goal. The amounts may need to shift around in situations where the amounts were not sufficient. But adjusting amounts to your categories is just part of a living budget.

💯 we change ours up from time to time whenever we’re feeling like we’re not hitting the mark!

@@thesimplebudget I'd love to see in a future video you using the Monthly Funding Plan page from the budget planner. I don't remember seeing you use it in videos often, but I want to use it for sure to see when bills pull out of which weeks, etc. Seeing somebody else go through it would be helpful though so I can get my brain around it right 🤪

Vada, you make it so simple. Ha, hence the name! Lol. My utility companies have equal payment plans. They average the expense for the last year and that’s my monthly bill. If we owe at the end of the 12 months it’s very little I actually add an extra $5 a month just in case and if I have an overage it just goes into savings or rolls depending on how much. If they owe me money, it just comes off the next billing cycle. I really, really love this feature and not many people know about it until less they ask it their companies do it also! ❤❤

You seem to struggle with how to refer to your income. I would suggest you stop "unreliable" income and try "unpredictable" income. Y'all seem to be handling things ok Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching👍
