      Absolutely!!!!
They keep bombing their neighbors and have been for decades! Then they cry “victim “ and demand that our country rescue them and it’s disgusting. Especially as of late how they are making a mockery of the United States! Making fun of how America will always give them money , while spitting in our faces! You would be surprised to hear what the Israeli people truly think of America, it’s truly reprehensible!

"ISRAEL ALONE" ~ Short title for an editorial in The Economist magazine, 03/23/2024
“There is still a narrow path out of the hell of Gaza. But at a moment of military might, Israel looks deeply vulnerable,
All the pillars of Israeli security - deterrence, rapid warning and decisive victory - have collapsed in the current war, and whatever the outcome, the clear scenario is that Israel has entered the Gaza quagmire.”

I remember, YEARS ago when I was a teenager and still pretty much oblivious and uninterested in global politics or the complexities of the world, I remember catching the tail end of a newsreel that talked about a young Palestinian girl who was shot by an Israeli gunman (soldier, in FULL kit) simply for walking too close to something (or something as ridiculous). She was younger than me, and I remember asking my Dad what it was all about. Why did that man, who was surrounded by OTHER men just like him, murder that girl.
For the next two hours I got the entire history and horror of what was going on there, and I think that might have been the moment I took an interest - and an entirely different perspective - of this world.

The cognitive disassociation is astounding

    • @TheVanillatech
      @TheVanillatech 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@arandomlemon6707 Well now as a middle aged man, and a father mysef and one who works in education - the hijacking of the schools, starting in the USA but inevitably infecting the UK shortly after, turning public serving and funded institutions into privately owned for profit "academies" is largely to blame.
They allowed the elites to buy our childrens education. Invisible owners, they are not listed (nor required to be) on the school staff or governor lists. Yet they have absolute control over what is taught, who teaches it and HOW it is taught. And the LAST thing they want, as we all know, is an educated critically thinking youth.
Now we're multiple generations in. Younger teachers, of which there are many, were themselves "educated" in this new obscene and useless fashion only to become teachers themselves. That's all they know, so that's all they can teach. The older ones are a dying breed. Soon there will be none left. And many great educators I've met have been pushed out because they went against the grain and did it for the freedom of knowledge.
If people want change, then they're gonna have to take it I'm afraid. Its not gonna fall in their lap and they are not gonna be able to vote it in.

😂 That's a good one. Unfortunately, orthodox Jews might have enough faith to fill a nuclear weapon.
As an atheist activist, I've debated a lot of Christians, a few Muslims, and just recently a few orthodox Jews.
The orthodox Jews are by far the most belligerent. I got the feeling from interacting with them, that opposing beliefs are beneath consideration in a way that I have never gotten from Christians or Muslims.
I have no animosity towards them. I like the rabbi who has the channel where I interact with them. I actually like him a lot. He's super intelligent, a great debater, and has an incredible knowledge of both the Christian and Hebrew bible.
But whereas Christians and Muslims will at least engage with opposing ideas, even if it's just to disagree with them, orthodox Jews only want to talk about their religion, and if you disagree with their religion, you need to stop talking.
And when they say stop talking, they mean stop talking to any Jew at all as if they truly believe they can reach through the internet to make you stop.
The experience has been very eye opening. That particular group of Jews really does seem to believe that everyone needs to have deference towards them.
Now I have only interacted with two where I was disagreeing with them.
There have been other instances where I actually would agree with things the rabbi said. It just seemed like the responses of agreement I got were super overly zealous, and overly dismissive of the other side.
This brings me to the Israel/Palestine conflict, and why such an obviously lopsided and awful situation where the Israeli government is so unabashedly monstrous.
They treat Palestinian life the same way the orthodox Jews treat dissenting opinion online and that is scary.

Because i don't follow Judaism, I don't use the language and terms they like to use, so their positive responses never actually end up having much to do with what I said in agreement with the rabbi.
When he speaks, he uses terms that anyone can understand. He speaks every day english that 99% of Americans are familiar with.
Then here they come, with positive affirmations to something you said, but they're clearly preaching ideas that have nothing to do with the video or your comment.
Like, i may say, _"The rabbi is right about how the Christians are wrong about the empty tomb of Jesus."_
And then one of them will post, _"Yes! Worship the One, and follow the seven!"_

That's the fault of the Dems and Harris, not Jill Stein for offering a better platform.
Almost nobody who votes for Stein would have voted for Trump instead, so it isn't helping Trump by voting for Stein, it's helping Stein and showing that Harris isn't good enough.

@@mikeyt34 Yeah, you make a valid point. I would definitely prefer Harris over Trump for many reasons. Even on the issue of US support for Israel she seams to take a less "hawkish" position than Trump/Vance.
But there are some who would argue that supporting a third party progressive candidate is the best option for three main reasons:
      1) It puts pressure on the more progressive of the two major candidates (in this case, Harris) to modify their official position on an issue in order to accrue more support from their progressive base.
      2) Thinking long term (not just this current election cycle), having lost a significant amount of potential support from progressives over a particular issue may motivate future candidates to do more to appeal to these voters.
      3) And there are of course those who are just fed up with this two party system, and believe that the only way we will ever replace it (with rank choice voting, for instance) is if a sizable number of people start voting for a "third party."

The system is still unsustainable, capitalism is moving towards fascism, as predictable, in late stage capitalism.
The working classes need to unite and build a better system to overcome the structural disaster of capitalism.
Go vote in November, many will vote for Jill Stein, probably not enough for her to win but that doesn't matter - the revolution is STILL needed.
Build mutual aid networks, read and understand socialism and Marxism, not because you have to believe in it but because knowledge is power and ignorance is not bliss, ignorance is what capitalism relies on to keep its power in the dying days.

And the Aliya (Jews moving to Israel and getting automatic citizenship) actually has continued as usual too. Also, it’s not true that most Israelis have dual citizenships. Most Israelis have been in Israel for several generations and more than half of Israeli families actually trace their roots back to Arabic countries to which they obviously can’t “come back.” I don’t support the Israeli government at all but I feel like there’s a lot falsehoods and misleading statements in the anti-Israeli discourse too…

Except that she can pull 3-5% away from Harris and cause the antichrist to win. Also, by doing that, it would benefit her country-folk izz. Could be a grift. Playing off softy lefts ❤ strings. It’s genius Unfortunatley. America has never had a female leader. Most Americans are Christian. Bible says women are not allowed to lead and must remain silent so while going against the antichrist is not a good time to experiment by having a woman cand. Stein does have the power to step down or tip the scales Unfortunatley.

This is part of our strategy- to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank.”

_"If this isn’t genocide in Gaza, then what is it?"_
It's war. Do you not know the concept of war? Your first world delusions are naive. Was it also genocide when the Allies bombed German civilians in WW2? You people are only using emotional propaganda terms to get a political victory. You value politics over peace. Otherwise, you would also have pressured Hamas to put down their weapons.
