Another fun bit of trivia: Thurl also did a lot of voices for projects at Disney, especially their theme parks. He can be heard in the background for Pirates of the Caribbean, the voice of Fritz the German Parrot in the Enchanted Tiki Room, and the Buffalo head for the old Country Bear Jamboree. His face can also be seen in The Haunted Mansion (often mistaken for Walt Disney himself) as Uncle Theodore, the leader of the singing busts (aka the one with his head broken off).
No, service/guard dogs sometimes have to wait outside when it means somebody is only allowed to do a rather quick deed or routine. Customers at warehouses sometimes lie about their dogs by calling them service or guard dogs while at those warehouses! That’s what many dog owners have done to my mother at Costco!
Poor Snoopy had to endure this through the entire film, but at least it proved beneficial for him near the end when he was having second thoughts about moving back in with his former owner.

At 3:11 it’s probably one of the few times Snoopy is happy to see a “no dogs allowed” sign since this means he can return to Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang. I remember crying when I watched this on tv when Snoopy left Charlie Brown. Even Snoopy was sad walking to her place if I remember right
@@XLone_AngelX - I’m pretty sure Michael meant “her” to be Lila, Snoopy’s original owner, not Snoopy himself. Snoopy and Woodstock went to visit her when she was sick, in hospital. She got better, then mused having Snoopy come back to live with her again after she would be released from hospital - being the obedient doggie, Snoopy didn’t want to disappoint her, so he went along with it with a heavy heart (because he would miss Charlie Brown and Co.). Because of this, Snoopy was sad as he approached her ( *Lila’s* ) place, but was relieved and overjoyed to discover her building didn’t allow dogs.
Yes, by her, I meant Lila, meaning Snoopy was sad as he was walking to Lila’s apartment. Of course when he gets there, he sees the “No Dogs Allowed” sign. He is overjoyed by this because this means he can return to Charlie Brown and the gang.
For the longest time, Snoopy has felt that the world was his oyster. Now with the "No Dogs Allowed" rules popping up, he's getting knocked down a few pegs and his ego is getting bruised.
That was such an awful thing that anyone did to Lila! Why did she need a landlord whom didn’t allow dogs in the apartment building she lived in and therefore made her feel forced to take Snoopy back?! Lila loved Snoopy, but her family couldn’t seem to find a good home where a landlord would allow dogs (and I still don’t know why her family turned out that way)!
