There's one person in the audience just having an uncontrollable laughing fit after the "angels" joke... the silent kind, when the only sound is them squeak-gasping for air. I found that so goddamn funny.

Open with making an issue out of a non-issue and the punch line is a grade-school level sight gag. Maybe that's why you get that impression from audiences.

It's nice to see more women on the stage, but, this isn't funny. To me.
She isn't that funny but she has managed to make all the popular TV comics fancy her so she gets ahead. Quite blatant really.

When she started talking about "macho gigs" and stuff i was like "oh fuck, here we go" but it turned out to be right funny 😂
I get the feeling that Lou is one of those people who are brilliant to be around, the life of a party, and really witty and funny. It works really well in panel shows and other more relaxed situations where she can bounce her wit and speed of thought off other people. I don’t think it necessarily translates into stand up.
Yeah so witty... She says smutty things, talks about boyfriends, and calls everyone sexist. Genius!

She scares me in the same way as Jan does in 'The Office (US)' But I still would. With either of them.
maybe she has better material. Basically if you want to see how looks can get you ahead in comedy instead of material, compare Lou's set to *anything* Angela Barnes has done over the last ten years
So, I took the Angela challenge and watched her set on here as well as another short clip. Lou has more interesting material, better timing, and doesn't mumble. I don't give a damn about what they look like; Lou is just the better comic
She kind of help to her 1st joke about the stereotype, she seems like a fun person to hang with, & will make you chuckle as a friend, bit not a make you howl comedian! Not sure if it was nerves or she just didn't prepare well, but she is all over the place, a horrible speaker
