Found the fast squad during lockdowns and loved all your content since. Met some of the best people playing in verdansk and even after all this time we stay in touch even though we don't play anymore.
I'm telling you, Tomographic is as cracked as he is jacked. I saw him at 7-11 the other day buying Redbull and adult-diapers. When I asked him what the adult diapers were for he said 'They contain my full power so I don't completely shit on these kids.' Then he bunnyhopped out the door.

Honestly watching you and the FAST boys do new events and new Easter eggs or challenges together was a huge highlight. It was always awesome to catch them live if I could. Your humor works well with so many other content creators it’s amazing. Thank you for many great years of amazing content!
For me the problem was not Caldera, but the movement speed becoming faster and faster, the guns having less recoil and becoming beamier, the guns and attachments becoming completely bloated, and balance going completely out of the window.
6:11 even at the very end of the segment, Tomo really did not back down. And rightfully so! You, Stodeh, Jack, Westie, Aculite, BrokenMachine, TacticalBrit, StoneMountain and many others really were catalysts in creating that nostalgia we're talking about now. You bunch playing together as friends really related so well to what we all craved for during the pandemic. Just a bunch of lads playing together and having a great time. Something that was achievable for the most of us and that strengthened bonds despite the social isolation. I appreciate your honesty and thank you for being part of that nostalgia Tomo!
What an era. Had never watched streamers or any sort of gaming content until Verdansk. You, Stod, Jack, Westie and co made lockdown so much more enjoyable than it should have been. You were spot on in saying MW season 4/5 was it's peak, I don't think any new game will compare to quads on warzone back then. I hate seeing what it's become

This was a wonderful trip down memory lane. Great clips from some great matches. I don't play WZ much. Solos aren't fun. But I always tried to catch your streams. My memories of Verdansk are from your videos and streams. I hope WZ2 will bring a new set of wonderful memories. Great work on the video Tom, as always! I hope you're doing well.
You described it verry well. On Verdansk you could tell a story of you match. Many times when we won, we recapped the match. Oh we landed milbase, then rotated to airport got hold and smashed them, flew over to hospital and the snipe with the HDR was insane.... See what i mean, you could remember what you did and where you did it. I have a few matches saved up in my memory wich i will never forget. This game was simply amazing. I feel there are many other different factors why wz isnt that fun anymore but this is a perfect recap. On caldera it is like we ran from a bush to a hill then to a tree and then a generic house where somone camped. Idk Wz was simply love and now i didnt play it for 7 months.
Tomographic, you hit the nail on the head with this one. I don't play the game, but I found all of my favorite content creators during the pandemic. Watching you and the f.a.s.t squad got me through the monotony of being stuck in the house. Keep killing it brother. Much love.
I remember when Warzone first came out. For me, it was some of the best times, but also the worst time in my life. NJ had just gone into quarantine and my friends and I were furloughed. So we would just wake up and text each other, “Yo. CoD?” and we’d all hop on for a few hours before we’d take a break to eat and shower. Then we’d hop right back into Warzone until dinner and then did it all again the next day. And in the following weeks my mother passed away from COVID. And because NJ was still under quarantine, I couldn’t see my family and friends, so Warzone was honestly the only way to “hang out” with my friends. Personally, I would love to see a vanilla Verdansk. Only the original skins, MW weapons, and no Roze.
Verdansk was such an amazing map. Sure there's a couple of things that could've been better about it, but it was just beautifully well made. Something that I wish we still had

I completely agree, Verdansk made me feel not so alone in lock down. Playing all day with the squad, only taking breaks to shower and eat. The energy to game was so insane, just the escape we all needed. I remember playing seriously with a need to win and also meme'ing around too, especially when the middle of the night, delirious giggles came on. Truly some of my fondest memories. It's also when I first started watching streamers and discovering a whole community of like minded gamers. Thank you for everything you've given the community Tom! Here's to many more year's 💜
I do absolutely miss those times in quarantine, those late nights playing Warzone with My friends, laughing, using the absolute worst guns and loadouts known to man and still getting away with it, and just having a blast overall. However, I don't think I miss Verdansk, or at least not nearly as much as most people. I just miss the memories I made during those days.
The mix between Verdansk and the MW weapons was just too good. You could feel the love and attention behind the MW guns and that is what I think about watching this.
I can still remember finding out Warzone was free to play during one of Stone's streams & convincing a mate to download it to give it a try. (not big FPS players). Verdansk quickly became a place to drop in daily for a laugh & have a break from how soulcrushing the lockdowns were here. It was also one of the 2 games that originally led me to start saving clips & editing them and starting a channel of my own (6 subs... let's go!! Lol) admittedly mostly for my own amusement... like making an episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia with clips of Warzone & audio from the show. The amount of time I spent distracting myself from the tedium by watching you, Fugglet & Aculite cracking each other up is incalculable. So if you ever read this, then thanks Tomo. 👍🏻 I miss Verdansk.
I love a few hours on Ground War (MW2019) for that nostagic Verdansk itch!. I hope they bring it back for a few weeks before the MW2022 lauch! 22:07 - THAT KILL COM!!!! 😄😄😄😄 23:05 Stealth shots!!! can't forget when all apes used to hop into superstore apes knew that the whole lobby is landing there too but they insist to be risky and find what luck is hiding. the superstore experiment was so much fun in the old verdansk till roze skin came out...... and superstore turned into a horror movie. i had some good memories and kept playing the game till the DMR meta then deleted it.... then reinstalled it.... then deleted it again and again then finally deleted forever the aim assist, unbalanced guns, stupid gulag design , roze skin and the map visibility leds me crazy.
Tbh i want the option to chose maps. Night Verdansk. Day old Verdansk. Day new Verdansk. Caldera. I loved night Verdansk. Idk why but my push style worked good in the dark. I use a basic camo guy. Juat the guns i use. I use scar w/iron sights. And a aug. But hit amazing up close. Especially back then.
Incredible, I've genuinely been thinking about this for the last couple of weeks and the phrase I kept coming back to for Verdansk was how it had problems, but it felt 'lived in'. And a couple of minutes into this you say exactly that, just articulated how my brain wouldn't. You can't replicate the universe we were in at the time that made it the game it was, but they can definitely give us that real-world feel again, even if it has its gameplay downsides
came back to this video in 2023. Watching tomo play Wz was one of the best things to do in my free time during lockdown. The boys are still gaming tgt, just that one of the lads and I are on a different continent but this memory will forever be with all of us. The lads got me into wz during the Grau meta and I must say, i could literally cry looking back at the vids we clipped. The best moments in Verdansk was definitely the squad just laughing our butt off for little things. Just friends playing tgt and having fun Thanks again tomo, among other wz streamers, you were the best and really helped me through rough times :)
I think the majority of your nostalgia, like most things in life, are probably the relationships you built during it. The fact that people were escaping from a global crisis through the game and watching people play the game gave it a lot more power in our lives. It's still a fun escape, and I still enjoy hearing from my favorite streamers, but that connection has faded as time with friends and family has grown again. It's all video games, but people don't care about the gameplay that much, it's the personalities and fun you have with your fellow streamer friends. Verdansk was a moment, I don't think it's likely to be repeated quite like it was back in 20'
Verdansk saved my life bro. When I think back, after the first halloween event - everything went downhill. Hackers, bugs, bandaids after bandaids. remember the underground train system when they opened it up? they super hyped it up but you would literally hop on the wrong train and die in the gas LOL. then came the invisibility glitch with the choppers, and the stim glitch in the gas. then the aimbot/wallhacks went through the roof. Glad I got to be apart of the early days. they were so much fun.
modern warfare 2019 in general was a beautiful experience... double sprinting felt amazing, gun fight, kar98 / deagle. then warzone hit and ughh a feeling u can't describe, u felt like you finally got to use the m4 and mp5 to their full potential. what a fortunate thing to have had during lockdown.
I'd say my most memorable moments are too many to count, but one that shocked the hell out of me was when I was on top of stadium sniping at a moving helicopter. It went from 300 meters to 650 and only then did I get that sweet sweet dopamine rush of downing a guy, on a moving helicopter, 650+ meters out, with a *K31 Swiss.* Truly one of my most favorite moments Tomo and if ya think I'm fibbin, I still have that clip lmao.
You perfectly said exactly how I've felt about Warzone. So many great memories on Verdansk. 100% the season before Cold War integration was damn near perfection. They hit with a perfect idea right at the most perfect time. CoD was in a lull and needing to be revamped, Battlefield was dying with long time players missing that special "only in BF" feel and somehow it was WZ that gave it to us. The only thing missing from Verdansk was prox-chat and that has been fixed for Warzone 2.0
This hit me way harder in the nostalgia than I thought it would. You boys were what got me into Warzone back then, and it's still my favorite BR! Looking forward to more shenanigans in Warzone 2☺
I desperately miss just being able to get home relax hop on verdansk plunder or royals sitting on top of the 15 story building corner to superstore and kar98 people from any distance u could see whether it was at airport or storage town or the superstore roof hitting clips that seemed unreal and actually enjoying the game without working my brain or hands too hard
Tomo, this was a great trip down memory lane. The FAST squad, Jackfrags, and the other mates made the best content. With all the memes that came out of your verdansk game play was great, personally I’m glad you switch up games. Ready or not. Zero hour, lawnmower man. Fall guys Where all just as great. One of my favorite games you played with the FAST was when y’all did the Pictionary type game. THAT WAS A GREST LAUGH. Keep it up Tomo.
What a throw back! Been missing these times lately and have started to watch everyone’s old content to get same feels back again. I never agreed with opinions saying verdansk is getting old because I didn’t play 8hrs a day everyday as my job. Us casuals who played every second day or only a few hours a day didn’t get as tired as others.
Honestly, the thing I miss the most is being there with you and the FAST squad as you explore the game and genuinely have a good time. I barely played it myself. But CoD caught everybody off guard when they dropped this large scale sandbox game that was feeling so real and had so much attention to detail. Just felt like one long good surprise party.
I played Verdansk to death, was so sick and tired of it at the end. But had some great times, did tons of solos and duos with a regular teammate almost on a daily basis, stuck at home for most of 2020. Great video, especially the intro. The FAST squad rules! Honorable mentions: Jack, Stod, Westie and Lachey!
Mate my first win was with my mates when the Grau came out and vid was using so my friends were all like “use the Grau it’s goated”, so I hopped into a game and the last circle was in boneyard in one of the hangars and being the goat I am got the final kill with my level 6 grau with a holo sight. I’ll never forget that game. Thanks tomo for reviving all these memories I forgot i had.
Warzone peaked during the Quarantine Days, I will never forget waking up and finding my friends on discord early in the morning grinding gun levels, Warzone brought the entire gang back after we went on our separate ways to pursue college. Despite the cheating, glitches and poor optimization, the memories made in this game are nostalgic in every possible way.
My favorite memory, just because it was so early on, was back in like season 3, when they first introduced the most wanted contract. My team was dead and I had a god awful m4 with 10rnd SOCOM. I grabbed the most wanted, got in a vehicle and got in so much trouble. Everyone on the map was shooting at me, at one point I had a car chase where 3 different vehicles were chasing me and another most wanted while enemies on foot fired rockets at all of us. I managed to run over a few people on foot and bring the boys back in just before someone absolutely yeeted a c4 at me
My friends and I started playing warzone just like everyone else during lockdown in 2020 and it shattered me when they removed Verdansk. A map that holds so many memories and laughs with my friends. I sometimes actually feel like crying because those times were golden and i miss Verdansk so goddamn much. All i can do is hope and pray they bring back Verdansk soon. Caldera is trash. It will never replace Verdansk
This vid is brilliant. Games saved my life during the pandemic. No one knew what was coming, what was real, who to believe. Even though I'm not competitive anymore (aged 58) watching these matches took my mind of what was really happening in the world - things which we had no control over.. but it still stresses you out right? Tomo nails it here and this is the reason I subscribed. He's a fresh thinking young person but with the experience of an older guy.. Brilliant content and fantastic gameplay what's not to like :)
Coming here on Warzone 1's final day and I almost want to cry. So many memories. I never even watched streamers until I met you and your friends. Every now and then I get Dr Disrespect or TimTheTatman into my algorithm and they just so annoying with their constant yelling. I watched hours of you FAST boys playing Warzone. Ultimately, you guys got me back into gaming. I had given up gaming due to having two young children, but this was about the time they were going into school amd I started having more free time. I still watch you guys old videos for a nostalgia trip sometimes
Exactly what iv been saying to friend about moving around verdansk's poi's. You could remember nearly every game the next day because every game played differently. Caldera just feels like your running through the same areas all the time
One of my favorite memories was the release of the Amax. Me and my two very good friends stayed up late grinding out the gun on multiplayer to get it max level, and shred out on Warzone. We had so much fun using the weapon and got in a lot of good games, eventually we got a very intense win with the final zone ending in the fields behind Superstore. It was so much enjoyment and we could play the game hours on end and have a great time every single game. I hope that Wz2 and Mw2 will give us these same feelings again👍👍
When i was pretty new to cod my dad would watch me play because we were both clueless about fps game and i remember my dad saying "if you win a match today ill buy you a bundle thingy." And my 7th game on... i got my first dub. Along with the wages of sin bundle, and i ran that m4 for the rest of warzone's life. And now im tearing up. Damn

I and many others were there with you guys every step of the way. And what you said about it feeling like home it’s absolutely true. I have so many good memories with me and my cousins and friends playing late at night and when I reminisce I get very sad but also happy knowing that those were good times in the unfortunate times.
31:28 I remember rewinding this moment so many times. With Aculite jumping after the heli and then the perfect crash. One of my fav moments from watching Warzone content or playing myself the whole day. Some good ass times back then!
I started watching you because of JF and the guys that played with him. You, Aculite, Stone, and Fuglet were the young bloods and refreshing to see with the veterans. Its unfortunate how some of those can't move on and just make Warzone content instead of trying to branch out. Fyi....I remember so many of these moments you shared. Lol
I still remember to this day, when I first saw the season 4 cutscene and immediately sent a message to a friend, saying that the stadium had opened and I was so excited to Play with him, I really miss the verdansk days and I'm glad I can say I was there from the start

The weird thing about Caldera is that I seem to play much better in this map versus verdansk. I hit 10+ kills multiple times per day. Versus in Verdansk, which I liked so much better it was rare for me to get 10+ kills. But due to me doing much better is what keeps me playing
Warzones first 6 seasons with just MW19 content was the most fun I had in a call of duty since MW3/BO2. Then Infinity Ward left to work on MW22 and WZ2 and the madness begun
A friend was visiting just yesterday and we were waxing lyrical about our lockdown months playing Warzone together. It really was an escape and the only way to socialise with certain friends for a long time. A bizzarely important time for multiplayer gaming in general.
I didn't realise how much I missed these snipers til I watched this. I have kept on with the 3 Line and the Gorenko, but miss my Swiss, SPR and Kar98k 😭
The nostalgia is real. So many good memory's of staying up till 2am with the boys and goofing off with weird loadouts and making people rage with RPG drive-bys. Hopefully WZ 2 will be able to deliver a similar experience.
dude I miss verdansk so much cause its where I got good at my aiming, met some of my now closest friends found rA and got my first real paycheck doing something I loved, editing for a warzone youtuber this game did some great things for me and my life and its sad to see where it is now.
Verdanski was my escape with my friends when I couldn't see them through the pandemic, it was awesome when the stadium was put in the map, had so much fun exploring and winning games , so much fun . Happy days and happy times through an uncertain time

Can we just appreciate the lack of silly guns and skins back then? I mean, I know that Call of Duty was never a mil-sim and was more like an arcade shooter, but in MW time the Warzone atmosphere was way better than now in my opinion. This quasi-realistic military/special ops feeling combined with design of Verdansk map was awesome. Even when they introduced zombies when Black Ops was already on the picture, it still was somewhat down to earth, not abstract like nowadays. I know I will be called a 'boomer' but I just wanted to express my opinion. And yes, I would love it if Verdansk came back. You described it verry well. On Verdansk you could tell a story of you match. Many times when we won, we recapped the match. Oh we landed milbase, then rotated to airport got hold and smashed them, flew over to hospital and the snipe with the HDR was insane.... See what i mean, you could remember what you did and where you did it. I have a few matches saved up in my memory wich i will never forget. This game was simply amazing. I feel there are many other different factors why wz isnt that fun anymore but this is a perfect recap.
On caldera it is like we ran from a bush to a hill then to a tree and then a generic house where somone camped. Idk Wz was simply love and now i didnt play it for 7 months.

I remember when Warzone first came out. For me, it was some of the best times, but also the worst time in my life. NJ had just gone into quarantine and my friends and I were furloughed. So we would just wake up and text each other, “Yo. CoD?” and we’d all hop on for a few hours before we’d take a break to eat and shower. Then we’d hop right back into Warzone until dinner and then did it all again the next day.
And in the following weeks my mother passed away from COVID. And because NJ was still under quarantine, I couldn’t see my family and friends, so Warzone was honestly the only way to “hang out” with my friends.
Personally, I would love to see a vanilla Verdansk. Only the original skins, MW weapons, and no Roze.
Verdansk was such an amazing map. Sure there's a couple of things that could've been better about it, but it was just beautifully well made. Something that I wish we still had

I completely agree, Verdansk made me feel not so alone in lock down. Playing all day with the squad, only taking breaks to shower and eat. The energy to game was so insane, just the escape we all needed. I remember playing seriously with a need to win and also meme'ing around too, especially when the middle of the night, delirious giggles came on. Truly some of my fondest memories. It's also when I first started watching streamers and discovering a whole community of like minded gamers. Thank you for everything you've given the community Tom! Here's to many more year's 💜
I do absolutely miss those times in quarantine, those late nights playing Warzone with My friends, laughing, using the absolute worst guns and loadouts known to man and still getting away with it, and just having a blast overall. However, I don't think I miss Verdansk, or at least not nearly as much as most people. I just miss the memories I made during those days.
The mix between Verdansk and the MW weapons was just too good. You could feel the love and attention behind the MW guns and that is what I think about watching this.

I can still remember finding out Warzone was free to play during one of Stone's streams & convincing a mate to download it to give it a try. (not big FPS players). Verdansk quickly became a place to drop in daily for a laugh & have a break from how soulcrushing the lockdowns were here.
It was also one of the 2 games that originally led me to start saving clips & editing them and starting a channel of my own (6 subs... let's go!! Lol) admittedly mostly for my own amusement... like making an episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia with clips of Warzone & audio from the show.
The amount of time I spent distracting myself from the tedium by watching you, Fugglet & Aculite cracking each other up is incalculable. So if you ever read this, then thanks Tomo. 👍🏻

the aim assist, unbalanced guns, stupid gulag design , roze skin and the map visibility leds me crazy.
Tbh i want the option to chose maps. Night Verdansk. Day old Verdansk. Day new Verdansk. Caldera. I loved night Verdansk. Idk why but my push style worked good in the dark. I use a basic camo guy. Juat the guns i use. I use scar w/iron sights. And a aug. But hit amazing up close. Especially back then.
Incredible, I've genuinely been thinking about this for the last couple of weeks and the phrase I kept coming back to for Verdansk was how it had problems, but it felt 'lived in'. And a couple of minutes into this you say exactly that, just articulated how my brain wouldn't. You can't replicate the universe we were in at the time that made it the game it was, but they can definitely give us that real-world feel again, even if it has its gameplay downsides

came back to this video in 2023. Watching tomo play Wz was one of the best things to do in my free time during lockdown. The boys are still gaming tgt, just that one of the lads and I are on a different continent but this memory will forever be with all of us. The lads got me into wz during the Grau meta and I must say, i could literally cry looking back at the vids we clipped. The best moments in Verdansk was definitely the squad just laughing our butt off for little things. Just friends playing tgt and having fun

I think the majority of your nostalgia, like most things in life, are probably the relationships you built during it. The fact that people were escaping from a global crisis through the game and watching people play the game gave it a lot more power in our lives. It's still a fun escape, and I still enjoy hearing from my favorite streamers, but that connection has faded as time with friends and family has grown again. It's all video games, but people don't care about the gameplay that much, it's the personalities and fun you have with your fellow streamer friends. Verdansk was a moment, I don't think it's likely to be repeated quite like it was back in 20'

When I think back, after the first halloween event - everything went downhill. Hackers, bugs, bandaids after bandaids. remember the underground train system when they opened it up? they super hyped it up but you would literally hop on the wrong train and die in the gas LOL. then came the invisibility glitch with the choppers, and the stim glitch in the gas. then the aimbot/wallhacks went through the roof.
Glad I got to be apart of the early days. they were so much fun.

modern warfare 2019 in general was a beautiful experience... double sprinting felt amazing, gun fight, kar98 / deagle. then warzone hit and ughh a feeling u can't describe, u felt like you finally got to use the m4 and mp5 to their full potential. what a fortunate thing to have had during lockdown.

I'd say my most memorable moments are too many to count, but one that shocked the hell out of me was when I was on top of stadium sniping at a moving helicopter. It went from 300 meters to 650 and only then did I get that sweet sweet dopamine rush of downing a guy, on a moving helicopter, 650+ meters out, with a *K31 Swiss.* Truly one of my most favorite moments Tomo and if ya think I'm fibbin, I still have that clip lmao.
I honestly can't believe how much of this I was there for.

You perfectly said exactly how I've felt about Warzone. So many great memories on Verdansk. 100% the season before Cold War integration was damn near perfection. They hit with a perfect idea right at the most perfect time. CoD was in a lull and needing to be revamped, Battlefield was dying with long time players missing that special "only in BF" feel and somehow it was WZ that gave it to us.
The only thing missing from Verdansk was prox-chat and that has been fixed for Warzone 2.0
This hit me way harder in the nostalgia than I thought it would. You boys were what got me into Warzone back then, and it's still my favorite BR! Looking forward to more shenanigans in Warzone 2☺
I desperately miss just being able to get home relax hop on verdansk plunder or royals sitting on top of the 15 story building corner to superstore and kar98 people from any distance u could see whether it was at airport or storage town or the superstore roof hitting clips that seemed unreal and actually enjoying the game without working my brain or hands too hard

What a throw back! Been missing these times lately and have started to watch everyone’s old content to get same feels back again. I never agreed with opinions saying verdansk is getting old because I didn’t play 8hrs a day everyday as my job. Us casuals who played every second day or only a few hours a day didn’t get as tired as others.
Honestly, the thing I miss the most is being there with you and the FAST squad as you explore the game and genuinely have a good time. I barely played it myself. But CoD caught everybody off guard when they dropped this large scale sandbox game that was feeling so real and had so much attention to detail. Just felt like one long good surprise party.
I played Verdansk to death, was so sick and tired of it at the end. But had some great times, did tons of solos and duos with a regular teammate almost on a daily basis, stuck at home for most of 2020. Great video, especially the intro. The FAST squad rules! Honorable mentions: Jack, Stod, Westie and Lachey!
Mate my first win was with my mates when the Grau came out and vid was using so my friends were all like “use the Grau it’s goated”, so I hopped into a game and the last circle was in boneyard in one of the hangars and being the goat I am got the final kill with my level 6 grau with a holo sight. I’ll never forget that game. Thanks tomo for reviving all these memories I forgot i had.
Warzone peaked during the Quarantine Days, I will never forget waking up and finding my friends on discord early in the morning grinding gun levels, Warzone brought the entire gang back after we went on our separate ways to pursue college. Despite the cheating, glitches and poor optimization, the memories made in this game are nostalgic in every possible way.
My favorite memory, just because it was so early on, was back in like season 3, when they first introduced the most wanted contract. My team was dead and I had a god awful m4 with 10rnd SOCOM. I grabbed the most wanted, got in a vehicle and got in so much trouble. Everyone on the map was shooting at me, at one point I had a car chase where 3 different vehicles were chasing me and another most wanted while enemies on foot fired rockets at all of us. I managed to run over a few people on foot and bring the boys back in just before someone absolutely yeeted a c4 at me
My friends and I started playing warzone just like everyone else during lockdown in 2020 and it shattered me when they removed Verdansk. A map that holds so many memories and laughs with my friends. I sometimes actually feel like crying because those times were golden and i miss Verdansk so goddamn much. All i can do is hope and pray they bring back Verdansk soon. Caldera is trash. It will never replace Verdansk
This vid is brilliant. Games saved my life during the pandemic. No one knew what was coming, what was real, who to believe. Even though I'm not competitive anymore (aged 58) watching these matches took my mind of what was really happening in the world - things which we had no control over.. but it still stresses you out right? Tomo nails it here and this is the reason I subscribed. He's a fresh thinking young person but with the experience of an older guy.. Brilliant content and fantastic gameplay what's not to like :)

Coming here on Warzone 1's final day and I almost want to cry. So many memories. I never even watched streamers until I met you and your friends. Every now and then I get Dr Disrespect or TimTheTatman into my algorithm and they just so annoying with their constant yelling.

I watched hours of you FAST boys playing Warzone. Ultimately, you guys got me back into gaming. I had given up gaming due to having two young children, but this was about the time they were going into school amd I started having more free time. Exactly what iv been saying to friend about moving around verdansk's poi's. You could remember nearly every game the next day because every game played differently. Caldera just feels like your running through the same areas all the time
One of my favorite memories was the release of the Amax. Me and my two very good friends stayed up late grinding out the gun on multiplayer to get it max level, and shred out on Warzone. We had so much fun using the weapon and got in a lot of good games, eventually we got a very intense win with the final zone ending in the fields behind Superstore. It was so much enjoyment and we could play the game hours on end and have a great time every single game. I hope that Wz2 and Mw2 will give us these same feelings again👍👍
When i was pretty new to cod my dad would watch me play because we were both clueless about fps game and i remember my dad saying "if you win a match today ill buy you a bundle thingy." And my 7th game on... i got my first dub. Along with the wages of sin bundle, and i ran that m4 for the rest of warzone's life. And now im tearing up. Damn

I and many others were there with you guys every step of the way. And what you said about it feeling like home it’s absolutely true. I have so many good memories with me and my cousins and friends playing late at night and when I reminisce I get very sad but also happy knowing that those were good times in the unfortunate times.

I started watching you because of JF and the guys that played with him. You, Aculite, Stone, and Fuglet were the young bloods and refreshing to see with the veterans. Its unfortunate how some of those can't move on and just make Warzone content instead of trying to branch out. Fyi....I remember so many of these moments you shared. Lol

The weird thing about Caldera is that I seem to play much better in this map versus verdansk. I hit 10+ kills multiple times per day. Versus in Verdansk, which I liked so much better it was rare for me to get 10+ kills. But due to me doing much better is what keeps me playing
Warzones first 6 seasons with just MW19 content was the most fun I had in a call of duty since MW3/BO2.
Then Infinity Ward left to work on MW22 and WZ2 and the madness begun

A friend was visiting just yesterday and we were waxing lyrical about our lockdown months playing Warzone together. It really was an escape and the only way to socialise with certain friends for a long time. A bizzarely important time for multiplayer gaming in general.
I didn't realise how much I missed these snipers til I watched this.
I have kept on with the 3 Line and the Gorenko, but miss my Swiss, SPR and Kar98k 😭

So many good memory's of staying up till 2am with the boys and goofing off with weird loadouts and making people rage with RPG drive-bys.

dude I miss verdansk so much cause its where I got good at my aiming, met some of my now closest friends found rA and got my first real paycheck doing something I loved, editing for a warzone youtuber this game did some great things for me and my life and its sad to see where it is now.
Verdanski was my escape with my friends when I couldn't see them through the pandemic, it was awesome when the stadium was put in the map, had so much fun exploring and winning games , so much fun . Happy days and happy times through an uncertain time

You really hit the nail on the head about the uncertainty and escape that was Warzone. Just such a blast from what feels like so long ago. To have the feeling of Warzone again would be a blessing. Here is to hoping that Warzone 2 can even capture a FRACTION of how we felt about the original.

Can we just appreciate the lack of silly guns and skins back then? I mean, I know that Call of Duty was never a mil-sim and was more like an arcade shooter, but in MW time the Warzone atmosphere was way better than now in my opinion. This quasi-realistic military/special ops feeling combined with design of Verdansk map was awesome. Even when they introduced zombies when Black Ops was already on the picture, it still was somewhat down to earth, not abstract like nowadays.
I know I will be called a 'boomer' but I just wanted to express my opinion. And yes, I would love it if Verdansk came back. I don't like Caldera.
