Locker room translation: He was saying that he was feeling good in the fight, he wasn't tired, but that's how fighting is and that happens. He also said that he is relieved to be in a good financial situation and in the past when he lost a fight it was a very bad thing because he didn't have money to pay the bills. Today that doesn't happen anymore. He also said that their children were sad for the defeat and so was his father, but he already made other people's families sad for having won and that's how this world of fighting is. And finally, thank you to everyone on the team. Basically that's what he said.

Imagine being Alex’s son and watching your Dad go through a devastating loss, then witnessing how he’s handling that loss with full confidence and smiles. What an amazing example to set for your children. Very inspiring. Rooting for you on the next fight Poatan! 🏹

I'm a Adesanya fan and after watching this, I respect this guy even more. He basically said that "shit happens, and when we laughed in the past, other families were sad, and now it's our turn so it's ok, I'm grateful to God for changing my life" Those words are from a humble and a great warriors. Sucks that two greats Warriors have to face each other but it is what it is.

Poatan, I'm from a small European country called Estonia and me and many others were and continue to root for you! You're not only a rolemodel as a fighter, but more importantly, as a human being. Much love and keep your head up champ. Once a champion, always a champion. Like presidents 😊❤

End of the day we are all human man. Media have painted a picture of Alex being this stonecold emotionless killer of a human. But you see the man break down, with all his loved ones surrounding him. I felt that bro, almost made me cry damn it. Yes he is an absolut killer at his craft but he is just a human with the same heart and emotians as the rest of us. Rest up Poatan, and get back stronger than before.

It takes a real fighter to still continue to post. When he lost I was genuinely sad and concerned this video wouldn’t come out. You don’t know how much I appreciate you guys still posting it and how much I need to see it at this time 🙏

A true champion who doesn’t hide his face when he faces defeat, I’ve never been so sad about another fighter losing ever. But he’s lost before and came back stronger so I look forward to seeing Alex with another chip on his shoulder. One of if not the greatest kickboxers of all time and is already a legend in MMA.

Even though I’m Nigerian I wanted Alex to win, he is such a great guy and inspired me to start training. Hope he comes back better than ever and regains some the title.
