I always take perch scales or skins cut up with scissor from previous fishing trip and put in a bucket of water and pour in like a 30 yard circle. It will turn on those non bitting perch
Sir you are certainly living and loving life. You have a nice spread out in the country. I recently retired and have a family 70 acre tract in Alabama I have a project and will develop the land and move out there. A five acre pond with redears and crappie are my favorite fish to catch, cook and eat. God bless you and keep those videos coming.

I live in aiken sc, I fish lake Murray. We put in at Boy scout. Where do you put in at? My brother every time he caught a nice fish he would say " that's what you come to the lake for!!!!!!" He passed very recently, I just don't have the same feeling about going to the lake. However when I watch your videos, it makes feel blessed to have had the chance over the last 30 years. For the chance to sit and "teach me how to fish" while enjoying each other company. Even though we learned from our daddy, he just fished more than I do. Man i wish i was there. This is favorite type of fishin. Structure lake fishin. Crappies perches n bassens. We do mostly salmon and trout up here in WA. Man.. i wish i was there
Ya know. Ya used to catch 100 and now ya catch 15…. I mean i’m all for rape and pillage… meat fishin. But ya kinda keep a ton of fish. I mean maybe ya let some go outta your bucket. But ya keep so many, you have a giant barrel on your boat to put em in. I’m sure the meat goes to good use but ya Might think about goin a lil easier.
Most of the time when I through the white perch back they come up floating on top, do you want to see fish floating around the boat while I'm doing a video. The perch are still in the lake they just getting educated it time to come up wit a different technique to catch them. No way you can catch them out on a hook. There is a lot of area in that lake that you not able to legally Fish. Wait unt5ill the water gets colder and I will show you.

They bite best in the cold weather.
