ha! I'm relieved to see that we are not the only ones that lose to this game. It is so hard to ever come up with two or more answers you can be sure of for a clue. And when giving the clues it's very difficult to give clues suitable for two or more agent cards, without inadvertently giving a clue suitable for the assassin :-/
Hi Andrew. Yeah, Codenames is very difficult. The words can be totally unrelated, so trying to tie them together is not an easy task, and having 3 assassins lurking around doesn't help! Still, it is a really fun game and really gives the brain some exercise!
@@tpa3437 It certainly is very difficult! And there are 3 assassins to try to avoid so even if you have a good clue to tie some words together, you have to be very careful of those!
@AllAboardBoardgames Yes we played over the weekend and really enjoyed playing. After many games we did get to beat the first mission , using the basic 9 lives. Yes it is tough going, we got close a couple of times, and then Bingo ! On the map now so progress was made. Many thanks
Hi there. Each player has a different map and the cards represented on each map belong to the player who has that map. For example, for Pat (the player on the left) the map on the bottom right corner represents his cards. So in the top row, his agents (green cards) are Zombie, Break and Big Bang. However, for Glai, the other player, her agents in the top row are Lumberjack and Big Bank (refer to the map in the top right). So although there is some crossover, the agent locations are different for each player, and where they are depends on the player that is guessing. Hope this helps!
@AllAboardBoardgames I understand you each have your own map. I'm more confused by how you tell which green card placed over a code name belongs to which side? There doesn't seem to be a defining theme (girls vs boys, hats vs no hats, long hair vs short hair, etc.). They're just random green cards, it appears.
@@bigb2184 Ah I see what you mean. So because it is a cooperative game, the goal is to find all 15 words on the cards, so there is no need to keep a record of who found which ones as long as you find all of the agents.

This version is very hard, with my gf we always won the original version when teamed but this one we often lose lol.

Love this game! 💚
Cheers Gregory! It's pretty tough, but a very good game indeed!
Looks like fun. This is a game I want to try.
This is a fun game indeed. Very thinky since it is so difficult to tie the words together but we always enjoy it.

Thank you for watching. Have fun when you get to play. It's great that this version can be played cooperatively!

Thanks for watching Alexis, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Where are you guys from?!?!? Interesting accents
Hi Santa! I (Pat) am from Ireland and Glai is from the Philippines. Nice to meet you! Where are you from yourself?
I'm confused how you tell which green card belongs to which template/side.
