Same. My late husband bought a near life-size standee for my nephew for Christmas the year Steve died. I tried to send condolences, but because I mentioned me being gay, by way of saying his wife had thousands of women, and many of us gay men, eating our hearts out for her luck in having such a wonderful husband, some ass from FB or the Irwin family handlers removed it, blocked and banned me. My late husband and I adored their entire family, and watched every show.
Russell, you are a true delight. Seeing how you always got excited and happy about meeting people, and just doing stuff! Here's another Canadian wishing you the best.
Russell, I'm so happy you put this on TH-cam for the world to see!. You better not go to America and just see the U.S. Please, come to Canada! Bring your mum, she'll fit right in. Canadians will show you a good time.
I just love Russell!! He has made these past few years in the U.S. not just tolerable, but funny, and liveable, and we owe you a huge debt of thanks. You are a gift to this world!!🦋
Talk about a heat wave, I’m from the Pacific NorthWest in the states and it has been almost 120°f (48°c) for the past four days. The coolest it gets even at night is 80°f (26°c). I’m ready for winter. This is insane.
I was not expecting "I'm not getting sexually abused by a monkey" to be the most bizarre and funny part of this episode, especially with Tim Minchin in the show.
3:05 Dude, i live in Sweden where the *only* venomous snake has a bite that's less dangerous than undercooked chicken, you can't blame me for being at least a bit apprehensive Haha (Also i melt when it goes above 25° Celsius plz don't brag about the heat y'all endure i don't care gimme an ice-bath)
Hej! I'm originally from Michigan, U.S. (now in Tennessee). In 1985, I tried for swims there, and in Norway, and literally almost passed out from how cold the water was, especially that Norwegian mountain stream. Lake Michigan gets super cold, but I just can't take it. Meanwhile, I also hate extreme heat. It's my damn Neanderthal DNA, knocking about with my H. sapiens DNA, making for hard times. I adore your country. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.
I so enjoyed this adventure, and I, as an American, where I find so many are a bit uptight for my taste, especially in the humor department, really love Russell's brand of humor sooo much 😄 I find these videos to be such a welcome break from the sterile, serious, and frankly depressing average TV fare available to me, imo, anyway! Also, wow, young Mr. Irwin was very impressive and seems to be so happy taking up his dad's mantle . Thanks for posting this.
@@EricaGamet all 10 seasons with each up to 10 episodes? Took me a bit longer, especially since they're still uploading some full episodes. Nah Russel, if you came to Southern AZ and said even 37 degrees C was crazy we'd laugh you out of town... 2 months... 2 months we are above 43 degrees C constantly and the last three years thats been 4 months that we are above 43 degrees C more than 80% of the days... yeah nah, fuckin hell go to Oregon or southwestern Canada and talk to them about a 29 degree "heatwave" hell both of them broke 47 degrees C roads buckled, powerlines melted, and you couldn't even escape the heat in the water around because the water was below 10 degrees celcius they had people coming into the ER from thermal shock from going from heatstroke to near freezing so quickly it fucked their bodies ability to regulate it's own temperature...
Thanks Russell for giving me a taste of my birth place...question, why was Australia one ep and NZ was two? I expect there's a good reason for that, I'll be waiting at the pub drinking a scooner for your answer. Cheers Mate!
Probably because they had to quarantine in New Zealand so they had time to make all the prep work (arranging all those activities they do and all the stuff that goes into filming that, the necessary permissions, getting everyones timetables fit, etc, takes a lot of time and they had extra two weeks to get all that sorted) and film some stuff in the hotel during the quarantine so they just ended up having a lot more material from NZ.

Russell! Great show, but stop assuming that other people are straight! Robert Irwin may or may not be, and being asked about a girlfriend when you're 17 and into other boys is seriously awkward.
This was entirely marvelous. It resurrected my long ago desire to visit Australia and New Zealand. And underscored my belief that Russell is everything good in a man: hilarious, kind, and overtly sexual. Greetings from El Paso, Texas.
There has to be an origin to that saying. Somewhere, there was a guy who chronically shirked his responsibilities to yank it on any random arachnid he came across. No pun intended.
41:59 I would def not say that it's sexual, but yeah I can see how it can be sexy. But finding something appealing does not mean that that is the sole purpose of that thing. That is sexualization. Just a useful thing to be aware of, bc it's easy to conflate, but are actually v different.
Its very awkward when I scream in greeting my friends as I always do when one misunderstood mid-scream and immediately accepted my unbeknownst invitation
I like Russell giving Robert Irwin tinder advice. Russell's done well for himself in the romance department, but I'm a straight man, and I'm on the verge of simping for "Robbie", as I call him in my head. I think, if anything, he needs assistance in *not* getting laid.
