Salah is the anti-Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish. By that I mean everything he does is wired to being direct, score goals, create assists, and provide his underlapping right back with slot passes for them to put balls into the box. The only other non striker player who is as ruthlessly direct as Salah is De Bruyne. Mark my words, if Liverpool sign Salah to an extension he is absolutely gunning for Shearer’s 260 Premier League goal record.
@@mymemories925 Silva is great at retaining possession. But he constantly stalls forward momentum in attack and is a nightmare for both Haaland at City and Ronaldo with the Portuguese national team. As opposed to his countryman Pedro Neto who is constantly going at fullbacks and whipping in service with forward momentum, Silva is constantly putting his foot on the ball, recycling possession, and completely starving the 9 of service when defenders are out of position. He’s received a lot of praise over the years but I don’t like his style of play. Because he neutralizes his own 9’s.
yeah..FSG gambled for Darwin for 80mil for an average performance..i will still choose Mo Salah than two Darwin Nunez in exchange..Mo can still play in a highest level at the age of 36 or 37..thats for sure❤
200 Million what?? They rejected a package that 'could' have reached £150M. It was about £120M + add ons. Media always put the total package value (as it generates more clicks).
If u believe the 200 million story, sure. Even if it's true, u also have to take into consideration that Salah did not want to leave to begin with. U can't force a contracted player out of the club unless there's some kind of contract breach or something
I am a LFC fan but we can’t have Salah or any player hold the club to ransom. Football is driven by the frenzy of fans and the baseless speculation of media. Both are crazy. Successful clubs are well run on the pitch and the boardroom. There’s always a greater fool, so if Salah demands £450,000 a week, then others will come in and tempt him with £500k. And that money is insane anyway. Salah is a forward that relies heavily on his pace. We just saw Robertson slow down feeling his age and yet we want to give a 32 year old a 3 year deal ! Also Salah is already the top earner at £300k a week. There are plenty of young strikers. Less great goalkeepers and centre backs. We need to secure Allison and Virgil.
@mnemonija More like common sense. Plenty of players voluntarily retired in their early 30's to ensure longevity in their club careers and for a lot les money than Salah is on. At his age all the long haul travel increases the risk of injury, that's medical fact. I'd imagine from a legal perspective that'd be enough. If he's taking 250K fine carry on for Egypt but the echelon of cash we:re talking about which will completely break our transfer structure. I don't think it's asking too much tbh.
if diaz, nunez, jota can contribute and share salah's goals between them, that would be great but you can replace the goals, but the assists and what about having someone isnpirational, even if you shared the goals, but that still does not make them have that inspirational figure that he is right now?
Salah and Liverpool are a natural match. Mohamed Salah’s style, skills, and personality align well with Liverpool Football Club’s ethos and playing philosophy. Thats why without Salah Liverpool would be at 13th place thats how important he is. He is irreplaceable.
I’d give him 1 with an option for a second. Liverpool management has done their transfer business very well in recent times. Why are we doubting them now?
Its absolutely INSANE to be one month away of Trent, Salah and Virgil being able to sign for any club in the world... for free. Crazy. Top notch management indeed.

Can we all stop with the childish tribalism and just all agree that he’s a very, very good player who has been consistently brilliant for Liverpool That said, he did have half a dozen stinkers last season and I don’t think he was going to have the season he is currently enjoying as he seemed to have lost a yard of pace and couldn’t get round the quickest fullbacks - also his dribbling wasn’t great in early 2024. But he has added so much to his game, including assists, that he’s the complete wide forward I think a 3 year deal at big money and you might be having buyers remorse halfway through The deal - 2 year extension might be safer, as ALL players falloff quickly at some point
