- In 2022 The Dokken Farm in Kensett, Iowa turned 150 years old.
This takes you from Nesbeyen, Norway where the Dokken family originated, to 1967, when George passed away.
It offers a glimpse of what it was like to be an immigrant in the US, when our country itself, had an unsure future.

That was amazing! There was a lot of research and work put into that. I bet your family is so happy to have it. Priceless.
I watched ALL of this and we’re not related although I’m Norwegian, so we may be! I grew up in Hanlontown and knew Les and Donna. We at the bank all really enjoyed visiting with Les and loved his family brogue and sense of humor. I am very lucky to have very complete genealogies and many photos of 3 of 4 of my grandparents. It would be wonderful to have a video presentation like yours. Wonderful production! Lowell and Rodney Hall were my brothers. Marion and Leona Hall were my parents. I am related to all the Gesmes and Ouversons.

Thank you for all the time you took in crafting this. I am Taylor Rodriguez (maiden: Erickson) Hazel is my grandmother. Her daughter, Jean is my mother.
This is a treasure to have to be able to find out such information about that side of my heritage.
Thank you so much for reaching out Taylor. It's gratifying to learn that you find my creation a treasure. Take Care
