Love the video. My family and I lived on RAF Feltwell from 1975 to mid 1979. I was 9 yrs old in 1975., My dad was a Senior Master Sergeant when he retired in 1979 in Austin, Texas, Bergstrom Air Force Base, before it became an international airport. We lived at 52 Birdview Square on Feltwell. I really miss England and hope to go back with my family. You and your family enjoy your time there it will zoom by! Take lots of pictures. When I was a kid there I would explore the whole base! Fun fact, did you know where the baseball fields are the large grassy area was a World War 2 grass runway for aircraft? The way I found that out was exploring and finding the old runway lights buried in the grass. Also, there are also underground bunkers in some parts of the base! I found one one summer and found old cans and papers just sitting untouched from years way back. Well I could go on forever. Have fun and thank you for your service!!!
Hey I'm finishing up editing my house tour video of Feltwell too! I found your video trying to see what people titled their videos lol. My kids and I are at that park a lot!! Love this!
Thank you so much for this video!! It’s nearly impossible to find a two bedroom house tour. We will be there in October ❤️
Love this! Can you do an updated house tour or like how life is going? I’ll be moving to feltwell soon with my husband for our orders 😅
Thank you for sharing! Can’t find much content on life as an RAF wife 😂, I wonder if the less American bases are similar or completely different xx
Hi nice post
Thanks for sharing! How long was the wait list for you guys? We’ll be arriving next week 🙌🏼
Sorry I just now saw this! We got here at a perfect time and we didn’t have to wait at all!
Hey girlll! We just got offered a house on wellington, is that where you live? Hoping this is close to what our house looks like 😅🙌🏼
Sorry I just saw this! I live on Birdsview but Wellington should be similar!
Is your husband stationed there or did the tri base area only have that place available? I’m at rafl and they offered me a house here, just worried it’s too far of a commute
He’s at RAFL! the commit is only about 15-20 min a day, I work on RAFL too and I don’t mind it! It’s a very calm and chill neighborhood as long as you don’t mind adding 20 min to your arrival times to places
how long has your husband been in the air force before you got a nice house like this?
Huh! You cannot imagine the kennels that the RA F families lived in, but then this is USAF eh?
Peeping Tom!🤣🤣
One thing I do like about raf houses is the size of the garden!
