Travel Challenges Delay U19 Team

The U19 football team faced challenges in their travel yesterday due to delays and a downgrade of aircraft by Air Niugini. After a six-hour wait, the team finally boarded the flight from Honiara to Nadi, nine players short. Those who travelled spent the night at Nadi International Airport, arriving at 1 a.m. Fiji time and missing their connecting flight to Samoa. Coach Batram Suri was with the team who are expected to leave Nadi today for
Samoa, pending space and flight availability.
