I thought that as well until I really started searching for drummers. There are actually a lot of drummers out there that are just like this. It’s kinda becoming its own genre.
Death and Black Metal drummers have been playing this style of drumming for a long time. Dude is a badass though

Honestly I’ve been seeing Lorna shore since the very beginning. I truly believe that if Austin ever leaves they will have an impossible time finding a good replacement. Like this dude is exactly molded into this exact drum style. I’ve never seen anyone handle it quite like him.

Look at the wear mark on the snare head. Thats literally 1000’s of hours of training to hit that small of a spot consistently, with both hands to boot.
