  • Tembisa Hospital has had to be temporarily shut down after a deadly shooting on Wednesday. Gauteng officials say a police officer shot his partner, a nursing assistant. The 30-year-old woman died on the scene. The officer is in critical condition after turning the gun on himself. SAPS Brigadier Brenda Muridili speaks to reporter Lindokuhle Xulu. If u can't handle a relationship then stay alone cos this thing of killing someone's child, it's not worth it.

    • @sigmalonewolf8808

Killing is general is not good, but someone's child must learn to move one from relationship than to use someone's child also. Its not a man who must move on all the time in a realtionship, women have a tendency of using men most of time, taking him for a clown. Getting chowed by other dudes while she is fooling him and taking his money and other valuable stuff he offers due to the love he has for her. This matter need to be dealt with fairly and equal on both side.

This is not the first policeman who kill his partner. Maybe it is time that an investigation be done to see what is happen with policemembers on an emotional level that case them to take such drastric measures.

@Annatjie Kruger, Suicide and killing of partners and own children is an old ongoing problem within police force.
My grandfather was a policeman, my uncles were also. I grew up listening to such stories.

I totally agree, the emotional level and psychological manner is questionable. this is an ongoing issue which is not being fully focused on and many more family members are losing their loved ones at the hands of someone who is under law enforcement.

The hospital security is not an issue, neither should it be changed. Neither was/is it a loophole. Fact is police should be allowed into hospitals to conduct their duties, and they should be allowed with their firearms on hand, we can't change or stop that, it is just unfortunate that a bad apple used his position/job for doing bad...which many people do. Let's just look at it as an isolated case though. Not try to restrict police access to places or change or blame hospital security. Likewise with the New Somerset Hospital shooting. Very sad that people are so cruel.
