Please sir why do 5,000-1200 instead of 5000-1000 for the priority allocation.
This is because in the product mix you still put product A to be 1000 instead of 1200.

The 1,200 is labour hour required to produce 1,000 units of product A. In the product mix what u add up are the products and not the hours required.

1.It helps in making the optimal allocation of the limited resources to the various products;
2. It helps to maximize the contribution with the limited resources;
3. It helps in making a rational decision
