same thing with Wuthering Heights level.. on PS2 it’s 141 crates I believe and on Xbox/GameCube there’s 137 crates.. and also on Level 25 it’s a one crate difference from PS2 and Xbox (PS2 has 155 crates / Xbox has 156 crates.)
Late comment, but apparently there were different PS2 versions. Original (that’s most likely what’s being shown here) and later versions. I’ve had the “greatest hits” PS2 version of the game, and I remember also playing a friend’s PS2 version where the crate placements were different compared to mine.
Yeah, weird, on my second run I noticed the firefly and the levels name. Put two and two together and realised it was supposed to be a dark level like the older crash games and wondered why the lighting looked like the regular stage minus the lit candles
I know in the dark levels in Crash 3 if you don't move fast enough the Firefly will fly away leaving you leaving you in the dark But I don't know if that's the case here???
just in case you've never figured it out if you have either a "greatest hits" (platinum hits in europe) ps2 copy, a gamecube copy, or an original Xbox copy, you are playing a later build of the game. these versions changes some box placements around. The video is the original PS2 release, which has more boxes in alot of levels.
By collecting Relics in the others levels which are the time trials. Once you get 5 relics you unlock a new level and there are 5 levels to unlock so thats 25 relics
Th3Casi You have to beat the game first once you beat the game the middle platform should appear that takes you up to the secret levels. Now to be able to play these levels you need to collect relics which you get by doing time trials. Each secret levels costs five relics. For example the first secret level you need five relics to be able to play it. Then the next secret level you need 10 relics to play it. And it goes up by 5 each time.
On my copy those crates at the beginning are not even there and I cannot seem to jump up and get cocos life crate before u get to those spinning spike things
Vicarious Visions must've really liked castle levels. There's more of these levels than any other category in this gane
*travellers tales
@@BenjaZap Oh right, my b. I always get the developers mixed up cause this is when Crash was going all over the place with developers

Knight Time's music has a similar melody to Crashteroids, which was also a Coco's level.
Fuck this music was the shit
Wrath of cortex really sat down and went "you know what eould really be good. The exact same level that you need to play to unlock this one."
0:38 om jeezus I thought the dark levels were gone by this point.
Knight Time=Fumbling in the Dark (Crash Bandicoot 1)+ The Gauntlet (Crash Bandicoot:The Wrath of Cortex).
Isn't this just a coco version of the gauntlet
Yes but in the dark

Also some of the moving machinery doesnt move.
On the PS2 version, this has 112 boxes. Not 115.
But this is the ps2 version!!?
@@tgnoat910 NTSC vs PAL maybe?

Oh, and his game’s loading times were longer than mine...
Imaging playing this in a 2002 friday night...
I remember playing the GameCube version, and the stage is nowhere near as dark for some reason
Yeah, weird, on my second run I noticed the firefly and the levels name. Put two and two together and realised it was supposed to be a dark level like the older crash games and wondered why the lighting looked like the regular stage minus the lit candles
Great job
Scary lvl
Wow, really fast loading time, which console is it?
he just cut them lol
@@tinodiaconita Though this is only the case for the original PS2 version. Newer version have got shorter loading times.
He just cut out the loading times because these are so damn long in the original PS2 release
The soundtrack of this level Is pretty weird
Think you're trying to say amazing it's just not coming out right.
I know in the dark levels in Crash 3 if you don't move fast enough the Firefly will fly away leaving you leaving you in the dark
But I don't know if that's the case here???
Late reply, but no. The firefly here only moves according to your position, so it doesn’t matter if you go backwards, slow or whatever.
How do i get the second gem?
I explained it in the description and the video. One Gem is for the Crates, and the other Gem is one you just pick up along the way.
How do u get the beginning boxes?? I don’t see them before the clock..
just in case you've never figured it out

same as the gauntlet but a little different
can coco use the fruit bazooka
how could you unlock these levels again?
By collecting Relics in the others levels which are the time trials. Once you get 5 relics you unlock a new level and there are 5 levels to unlock so thats 25 relics
GD OblivionRaid Well i have 6relics and they still haven't been unlocked
Did you go to the middle and jump on the platform that takes you up to the secret levels?
GD OblivionRaid well there's no platform to jump on
