Wow! I've been watching this film for more than 6-8 months and am still carried away by the story. Of course I fell in love with the characters of Bai Jue and Shanggu and to ALL of them, one is distinct to the other and they All played and did an excellent job in giving life and form in their characters and roles. It's really a beautiful, lovely and ❤️ heartwarming Ancient Love Story. I love it and it's a masterpiece. The production, the settings, the set designs are very artistic and outstanding. Thank you very much to All the people who worked together, the staff, the crew, the scriptwriter, director and of course the Characters, they are absolutely beautiful, handsome, lovely, talented and gifted Actors. They got their characters well portrayed and the way they attack their characters have been so adept and transcending, beautifully made film like I mentioned, it's a masterpiece. By the way the fight scenes are fantastic and carefully planned and executed, the camera tricks and effects and technicals are awesome. Ms. Zhou Dongyu is a beautiful, petite, versatile, talented, and gifted actress and artist. “Ancient Love Poetry” is one of our favorite dramas. My family has enjoyed watching this drama and the BTS to this drama numerous times. Ms. Zhou Dongyu’s portrayal in her roles were outstanding, excellent, and superb. The entire cast were excellent, superb, and brilliant. The creator, directors, editor, producers, screenwriters, cast, production, crew, and soundtrack were absolutely stellar. Can someone explain what happened to them (Shanggu, Baijue, Tianqi, Zhiyang, Fengran) in the drama The Last Immortal (sequel book and drama about Yuanqi)? Because from the clips and intro of the book in the internet, it is explained that Yuanqi is the last remaining god and the god realm is no more? How come it happened when Shanggu is still the Chief god?
Does anyone know when the sequel will start and what is the possible name? I know its supposed to focus on Yuanqi falling in love with some goddess I think but I don't know much else. I love this show SOOOO much it is definitely my top 5 and I think its one of Xu Kai's best roll, even better than Fuca Fuheng. I absolutely ADORE Tianqi and hope Yuemi can come back somehow with her and Fengran protecting Shanggu. My favorite girl used to be Jin Yuan who played Wei Yinglou but after seeing this, yea sorry but Dongyu definitely is my number one now. You really can see the difference between Shanggu and Houchi and that's is great acting. Just like Bai Jue and Qingmu they really are different people. Love it, Love it, LOVE IT !

I understand that his Mother sealed his power of chaos in The Last Immortal after they closed up the God realm again. However, the Yuanqi in The Last Immortal was not a very smart man. He couldn't see through what the evil Immortals were up to and through their lies. His character disappointed me.
I have a lots of doubt... If tianqi can come back, if bai jue can come on their own.. Why cant shanqu come back after the tribulations of chaos..🤔 Why yuemi doesnt have reincarnation..?🤷♀️ Why is tianqi's hair not yet black.. 😂
Tianqi, Bai Jue, Shanggu are True Gods. As Tianqi once said, if they die, they will reborn on Heaven and Earth Platform. But Yuemi is not True God. Need to see what powerful attack by Wuhuan who killed Yuemi.
After Shanggu died, Bai Jue hurried to collect her souls and made her have reincarnation. If Bai Jue didn't made it, maybe same as Bai Jue, she had came back to life. But I think the whole plot was not the same as flowing until this end. 😂 And why Yumi didn't come back to life? She will... in the season 2, you must watch. 🤭 And about Tianqi's white hair? It is because he hadn't gain his former full power.
