We came for a long weekend and stayed for 2 months. It was the perfect place to unwind and forget all your trouble. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Even though you can get anything you need, it still has that small-town vibe. Bantayan Island in the Philippines is a real paradise destination and the best-kept secret is how wonderful it is. You won't want to leave and it really does feel like home.

This is literally my favourite youtube channel now. For a long time, I've been looking for vlogs that are just raw and natural. No editing or going to nice tourist locations. I want to see more of the 'reality' of these places and you did! thank you so much!

That parachute is actually from a skydiving adventure. Bantayan Island is the pioneer, thus the oldest skydiving site in the Philippines. You might want to try it and discover a whole new adventure of a lifetime. There is also a paragliding adventure down south of Cebu, in Oslob.

This kind of beach is all over Philippines. You should visit Pagudpud in the North side of Philippines. It's only an hour by plane from Manila. Have fun!❤

Pagudpud is nowhere near than the beauty of Bantayan
Luzon's beaces has no match than the beaches in VIsayas even if you include Palawan
you know what they say, they were asking to talk to you but they were shy to speak because theyd ont know how to speak English properly they are shy... and the old lady said, u have been to highschool, you dont know how to speak English, they are just more happy to see people especially western like with white colour, so dont get them wrong. Even me myself it happened to me when I was young and now im in australia.

You have to have those mix dried fishes you bought fried or have it FRIED for you. Otherwise, it won't be crunchy and delicious.

Hello there, love the video, can i ask whoch month it was you visited bantayan, i was there in november 2023 for 1 week and the water was not as clean at kota beach as it is in your video
We were there end December and January

What do you think, Bantayan or Camotes for retirement? I have been to Bantayan many times, but never to Camotes. I know that Bantayan is more touristic.
Bantayan is easy to retire, Camotes is more work, but would be better for peace and quiet

I lived in Philippines for 3 years, and will soon go back for ever. Not even once I got sick in the stomach in Philippines. Been traveling to more than 30 countries, a lot bigger risk to get sick in Europe, central and south america, and middle-east.
They can speak English, but they are shy maybe there English are wrong or basic... hehehe
