It's always a blast exploring Busch Gardens during Howl-O-Scream season, even with a little rain. The spooky decorations, haunted houses, and shows make it all worthwhile. The "no boo" necklace is a cute touch for those of us who might be a tad jumpy in haunted houses! 🙈 Thanks for taking us along on this eerie adventure! 🎃👻
This was a very well done and informative video for Howl-O-Scream Williamsburg. Jack is back!! The haunted houses looked really good and I loved the concept of combining a singer with a monster. Their new haunt looks so much fun. Why on Earth would Busch Gardens or anyone have a problem with cannibals. I'm guessing the meat from the trunk wasn't USDA approved. Lol! I seriously want to get up there sometime, but we are booked out. I'm glad Jack got to go and enjoy the experience. It's loads of fun. We just got back from our Orlando/Tampa run and we got to do Howl-O-Scream in Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando. Both events were a blast! I do apologize for not being able to watch this video until now. We had 2 days at home and will be headed to Greenville, SC tomorrow to show our cats and attend 2 haunted attractions, Nightmare Dungeon and Madworld. Both are supposed to be great. I'm both excited and exhausted.
Thank you once more Alice & Jack for the visit to Williamsburg`s Busch Gardens. The Halloween event always looks so much fun. Glad the rain eventually eased and that Jack was able to enjoy his visit more. hope you both have a wonderful weekend.
Rain storms are great for getting the park to yourself! Dance forever not a bad curse Like things jumping out Awesome spooky. Good tips on pricing Thanks for the take along. Cheers and like 26
Wow! Didn't realize that Howl-O-Scream was already open. The gem mine looked awesome! All the houses looked great. Thanks for sharing. The footage looked great. I know how difficult it can be to video in those situations.
It does seem Howl-O-Scream opens earlier than it used to open. The theming in the gem mine did look good. While I don't love people jumping out at me (which is why I hide behind Jack much of the time at these events), the theming in these haunted houses is really well done. They do a great job with a lot of the decorations and costumes. It really is difficult to film in such dark circumstances. Thanks for watching - and for your kind comments!
Love the names for the singers! ha ha... terror-tories... love it... did you wear a 'no boo' necklace, Jack? :) That was awesome! Amazing overview guys! I have never been to any theme park Halloween 'scream-like' events... we hope to get to one someday as our little guy gets a bit older...
I will let him know of your compliment. He will appreciate it. He always has much more fun at haunted events than I do so I was probably better off supervising the moving crew we hired at my mom's house.
I can't believe Halloween is only a month away! 🙂 Dead Sheeran, Taylor's Witch lol... looks like a great show! Glad the rain stopped and saw a lot more shows.. these haunted houses are the best, definitely a lot of fun scares! I'm glad you got to record a little bit inside, I know some places are strict with that. I like the Medusa one.. fun drinks in the end.. thanks for the tour guys!
A spectacularly good time Jack. Much less scary to me than helping my mother pack up and move, Alice! 😁😁 A fun time and day, but waiter, there's a fly in my soup. A zombie serving it too! Would love the Poe house. Mandatory Raven room and would love to meet the beautiful Annabel Lee! Your right though. Jack the Ripper may not be for kids. But, I'd enjoy the show! Looks like a fun time. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thankfully, Jack and I had previously helped my mom pack everything into boxes. And we hired a moving crew to do all the heavy lifting. So I just had to supervise and tell them where to put things in the new house. But I was happy to not have to go get scared. LOL. I am sure we will go to some other Halloween event before the season is over so I guess there is still time. Thanks for watching Jack's tour of Howl-O-Scream!
Yes! Being at a theme park after an hour or more of rain is so wonderful. People usually hold out for a while but once it hits an hour, the crowds start to thin out quite nicely. Did you do / are you going to do Halloween Horror Nights this year?
@@trvlnthru we just got back from there. It's always one of our favorites but the crowd levels are always way too much. I do wish they put limits on the number of people.
Jack had a great time! And I had a great time avoiding being spooked. Though the season is young and I am sure I will end up at another Halloween event or two before it is done if our plans work out. We hope you and Mark are doing well, Jenn! Thanks for watching!
Oh how I wish we could fit a trip to Williamsburg in again this year. We loved it last year. We are hoping to come back next year. Thanks for bringing us along we loved looking back through your lens 😊👻😱🎃
It is such a lovely park! And this is a fun event. We are glad we could give you a glimpse at it since you couldn't make it back this year. We hope you get to return to experience it all again next year. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
It is fun to see these places all decked out for the holidays. And it was funny to watch people walk up to Medusa with their hands covering their eyes. LOL. From the looks of it, she got quite a few people turned to stone so I guess not everyone was aware of the danger. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great to see you there Jack and missed you Alice!! I so wish I would have seen the burgermeister guys with the no boo necklaces! That would have been so cute!
I wish I could have been there to run into yall. Although those jump scares are unpleasant to me even if a lot of other people love them. LOL. We are planning to go to Kings Dominion's Halloween Haunt so I am sure I will not avoid the jump scares this year. The Burgermeister guys are so much fun! And Jack thought they were hilarious running around with the No Boo necklaces. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
We've always wanted to go to Howl-O-Scream. Seancy...how funny!!! The shows look cute. I love the decorations. I can't say I love scare actors jumping at me but that's only because they do their job well and scare me! I love that you show parts of the houses but not the whole walk through. They looked great. Is it bad I want to meet the Sesame Street characters in their halloween costumes?? We'll get to a Busch Gardens one of these days around Halloween! Loved this.
We wished we lived closer to do this!! It looks like a blast!! That darn rain gets in the way of things sometimes lol! Ohhh Lost Mines looks and sounds cool!! Diner for cannibals 😂 Ok you guys got us thinking of maybe checking out cedar point or kings island Halloweekends! So much fun!! Ok be back checking kn campgrounds nearby lol!! Great video guys!!
Howl-o-scream!! So fun, but I am a huge chicken lol! I love that Jack even stayed during the messy weather. I love seeing all of the decorations, especially the GIANT pumpkin. Cool they have shows too. Singing competition between monsters haha! “Seance” lol. Awe I would want a “no boo” necklace lol that’s so cute, and like I said I’m a huge chicken 😂 I don’t know if I could drag myself in a haunted house lol! A diner for cannibals “the worst type of diner there is” 😂😂 oh no and the meat market hahaha! Lots of Halloween themed bars, fun. Glad your drink was delicious. The blood bag or syringes sound clever lol. Fun to see the merchandise too. Awesome video you guys!! Thanks for bringing us along! 😊💕
It was unfortunate that Witch of the Woods got rained out... but the crowd was cut by a huge percentage after a rainy afternoon. Short lines at theme parks are always nice. You should definitely check out Busch Gardens some day if you ever get a chance. Thanks for watching!
What a FUN event! Our daughter-in-law got an invitation to the Orlando location to cover it on her channel. I guess the rain was kind of a good thing keeping the big crowds away.
We would love to check out Florida's version of Busch Gardens some day to see how it compares. I am sure it is a great park as well. Rain at a theme park is always good in our opinion. Spend some time watching some shows and walking around in a poncho - and the crowds just melt away as time goes on. Then when the rain stops, there are no lines. Thanks so much for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
Ahhhhh, love when the rain scares most of the guests away! I can see why it's voted one of the most Beautiful Theme Parks! I'd love to see it in Person one day without the Scarey stuff, lol😂😅😂.
I agree - daylight hours are the best to visit something like this. When I do go to stuff like this, I hide behind Jack a lot. LOL. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
I know it’s scare season when trvln_thru when your Halloween videos come out. Too bad it rained most of the day but at least it wasn’t too busy. Glad you didn’t buy meat from the back of the truck. You have gone to the King’s Island version. I screamed like a little girl when I did the haunted houses there. How does it compare?
We love Busch Gardens Williamsburg and would really like to go back, but I'm not a fan of the ghoulish/scary side of Halloween, so I have to remember not to go at this time of year.
I get it. It isn't really my type of event either. But Christmas Town is on its way right behind this event and it is lovely. Spring is great at Busch Gardens too with Mardi Gras and Food & Wine. There are a lot of great things to enjoy the rest of the year for those of us not into this event. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Jack did have a lot of fun. He is already planning some further Halloween adventures for this fall so stay tuned. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Very cool! I have never been to the event in Tampa. I did HHN once in the early 2000s and that was it for me lol Very cool theming and event!

Nice to see many things around in the video. Great share
Jack did a great job covering this event!

The monster singing looks awesome! Glad the weather got better! Hope your not still dancing 😂! The houses looked awesome! Scary night out for sure!

Nice Busch Gardens Williamsburg
I love Halloween at the parks. Sometimes bad weather helps with crowd control. It would be a bummer if the rides are down though.

I have driven right by the entrance to this place , never been inside. Bummer about the rain the Witch of the woods would have been nice to see. 👍
