    David, many thanks. This is contagious. I also started, however Im (at 63) only a beginner. Using still my wives cutlery, I'll soon get more professional tools as I develop this fabulous art. One day I'll get it right.

    Mr. Lemon, it's always amazing to see you start a new project. I'm not sure if you noticed by now, you drew the bottom of the chin to the point where you set the collar bone, so you scaled her up, that's why you were running out of space. Still, it is coming up beautiful!

    This video is very helpful, gonna start to do these- I see it looks like you can layer the clay slowly rather than scoring it and lumping as I saw in other videos- I like the method in this video best.

      I'm using Chavant's NSP Soft, you find it on this Page.. It's a Plasticine Clay. You can't fire it and it will never harden.
      It's located half way down this page sculpturedepot.net/clay-wax-tools/product.asp?Clay

    Ah, I wondered what those white adornments were on her dress. Also, if you coat the board with white glue, mixed with a bit of water, your clay will adhere to it better. Be sure to let it dry for about 24 hrs first.

      Hey @@clayguy1, great video! A question about Plasticine. If it never hardens, wont the relief start sagging after a while with gravitational pull...? Thank you in advance!

    • @clayguy1
      @clayguy1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@QuestKash It can over time if you don't make a strong or good armature... I ended up tearing this one apart... Never liked it...
