I have this bike it’s the erion edition 929 with forged pistons crank titanium valves and cams Throttle body etc it’s built nice by the previous owner I love the damn thing it’s scary for sure but handles extremely well and is very comfortable these were the golden era for street bikes
beside gearbox problems, htev problems, pgmi problems oil consumtion problems its a solid bike...that is why i am going to suzuki. in this video can be seen red light on dash...its probably pgmi flashing becouse of non oem exaust...and htev
Did you have a problem with chugging? As if you flicked the kill switch off n on while cruising along ? Just had new stato and reg rec fit but still happens!!! Asrrrhhh
Glad you asked, ive had many compliments on the sound of my bike, and i miss the f*** outta it myself. I used a micron slip on. But ive modified the mid-headers so that the valves and intake flaps were permanently open and straight through. Dont know why honda did this valve system anyway, think its silly. Anyway, that is why you can see my FI light on permanently, ive never bothered to fit a false servo motor to that section.
Thanks for the input! I assume they did it for efficiency purpose in low-range revs along with 100k+ miles engine durability. So you replaced the mid-pipes to get rid off the HTEV valve (not sure if that's the name)? Since I don't want to invest too much in exhaust, my best bet would be to go for a custom made pipe (100-130euros in Romania) that still sounds better over the stock one. If it wasn't for the poor sound, this would have been the nicest sport bike for a big guy like me. -1 tooth in the front sprocket makes it a beast in the mid-range power also. Cheers and ride safe!
bbullzeye Mate, I didnt replace the HTEV, I just made it such that the valve stays open like when it's supposed to when in mid-rpm. I bought the bike with this exhaust already on it, but it didnt sound so good until i had the valve clearance done and installed brand new spark plugs, which in the end made a whole world of difference. I believe you can still get micron pipes here and there for the 929. Also, i used a -1 front, +4 rear setup for my sprockets. That made it REALLY fun.
+matttheasianguy -1/+4? so you now drive a motocross? ^_^ I wanna buy the ESE to my bike and turn off the drain valve eliminating also the F1 signal, but leaving the air flange.

I love my 929, still scares the shit out of me riding fast! Amazing bikes and dead cheap now days.
Yeah I got mine fully built for 4200 bucks!
I’ve seen some stock ones for as low as 2500 with higher miles
I like when the guy up front kicks his knee out "like a pro @ full lean"
It held tremendously in tight corners if you lean proper it’s not just for pros lol it’s just really effective and the proper way to corner

Great ride. Sorry to hear about your bike, hope it is not too expensive to fix.
Thanks. It didnt cost anything to fix though, cuz there was nothing left to fix, lol.

dunno yolo Description says this was the last ride before it blew up, by the sounds of it he went down
What exhaust were you using? Sounds better than stock system.
