You do know that Chipmunking a song is only denoted by increasing the pitch of the song until it's sound could only be created by a Chipmunk, yes? Nightcore changes pitch, speed, and tempo to create something that sounds distinctly different while still keeping a similar sound to the original track.

I'm not kidding, most Nightcore covers have literally NO thought put into them at all, When it's actually remixed, then it's its own genre, but when it's just pitched in audacity, it's just a chipmunk cover

Frankly, the singer's voice is much too high for it to make decent Nightcore, which pitches up the sound even more. It might have gotten away as Denpa, which even fans of the genre acknowledge can be very harsh on the ears... but there's nothing cute about this. "Rustled jimmies" is the new "U MAD?" in that only people whose jimmies are rustled even say the expression. So I hope you have a good day, and please accept this criticism graciously.
