Homework:
Viedä = Vien
Tuoda= Tuon
Please give more examples for homework of words like
Tehdä = Teen.
Nahdä = Naen.
YAY!!🥳🥳
These are great, but I always find it harder to build sentences from scratch rather than memorized common phrases and then tease out the rules. I think children tend to do the later since they often don't understand what they say, and it probably saves them a lot of time. Although it's kind of a more second handed way if you don't get to the root. Which way do you think is better? Memorize phrases and then tease out the rules, or memorize phrases and then find out which constructions are useful?
I think you should do what feels best for you. :) I don't know which way would be more effective, but if you have a preference and it motivates you more then that is probably the best way to go for you! :D
@@KatChatsFinnishThe second one should have been "memorize rules and find out what constructions are useful. I must have mistyped. I guess the reason that memorizing phrases is better though is that the rules you find are likely to be somewhere between your natural brain functions and what's prescribed by the grammar police. Anyhoo.
Question when to your those verb?
Please talk more about partiitivi 🙏🙏🙏
What to use in ilocos sur? Stä or sta? Thanks.i hope u notice this please😊
Sta
Very useful! But what about "nähdän pian"?
Nähdään would be the passive form of nähdä (passiivi). So changing the sentence a bit it would still follow the same rules: Minä näen sinut pian. Hope that makes sense!
@@KatChatsFinnish Kiitos paljon!
Can you also use only "näen"?
Like the sentence: "Näen varjot" or perhaps "Minä näen" only?
Both of these can be used :)
Basic form, Root word, and Individual form. Is there also a reflexive form conjugation?
I did a quick google search because I didn’t know ~ and apparently it’s only in some Eastern dialects and old kirjakieli. So not really.
So how you say "I'm washing myself" vs. washing something else?
I'm not sure either... could it be "minä pesen minulle" and "minä pesen koiraa"?
You would say “Pesen itseni”~ ”Pesen sinut” = I wash you. ”Pesen koirani” = I wash my dog. ”Pesen koiraa” = I wash a dog etc :)
@@KatChatsFinnish Or "Minä peseydyn". -Utua or -ytyä is the infitive ending for the reflexive version of a verb.
Hey Kat! And what does voida mean?
Voida = to be able to :)
@@KatChatsFinnish Kiitos ☺️
Mä syön kala ✌️😁
Love it!! :D Remember to use the partitive case in this sentence: Mä syön kalaa. 🙌🏻☺️ Love that you’re practicing, kiitos!
@@KatChatsFinnish kiitos Katiii ❤️
Minä tuon
Minä viean
Minä/mä vien ; minä/mä tuon
Mina vien
mina tuon
Vien tuon
Mina vien
Mina tuon
Mä vien
Mä tuon
Kiitti.
:)
Minä vien
Minä tuon omenaa puistolle ja minä vien monta paitaa talvessa.
Although idk if I used the right locative cases...
Hmm, are you trying to say:
1. I bring apples to the park = Minä tuon omenoita puistoon
2. I bring lots of shirts in the winter = Minä vien monta paitaa talvella (although it's unclear here where you are bringing them to) :)
Looks like you have the verb type 2 conjugations mastered though, good job and love to see you practicing! :)
@@KatChatsFinnish iso kiitos! joo, this is what I was trying to say :P I just have to work on my partitive case usage I think...
Minä syön mansikka
Awesome that you're practicing! Love strawberries too/Rakastan mansikoita myös :D Remember to use the partitive form in this sentence: Minä syön mansikkaa (or mansikoita in plural) :)
not related to video but your looking kinda thin...
Hmm you think? It's not on purpose 🤷
put on 10lb ...i think that would be ideal....but as long as your feeling great than its ok...
