أَعـوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجيـم

لَقَدۡ كَانَ لَـكُمۡ فِيۡهِمۡ اُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَنۡ كَانَ يَرۡجُوا اللّٰهَ وَالۡيَوۡمَ الۡاٰخِرَ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَوَلَّ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡغَنِىُّ الۡحَمِيۡدُ ۞
Translation:
There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

indeed but its not like the way it is ...i think it was with different scholars of different faith and its in English where he dilvered his point of view about Islam ...i found that one interesting because after the discussion scholars asked him different question its really really very tough ..!!

Despite being a great scholar he either forgot or seemed to lack the understanding that he was addressing in India. So Jihad had to be explained in Indian context which can not be Qitaal. Indian muslims have to carry out a passive dawah uniting themselves on the basis of religion in its purest form not on differences. The fiqh and creedal differences have made us so distant and insensitive to our social nd humanitarian issue that a Shia girl may elope with a non-muslim but She will not be allowed to marry a Sunni and vice versa.
