Me thinks a couple of frozen bodies from the space bears old old people should have been in the ruins or frozen in certain positions like a old burial ground. But the board looks amazing

Cool build. I love making terrain and boards. I have followed Mel the terrain tutor for years, and Luke's channels making awesome builds. I have made boards for bolt action, MCP, 40k, but never tried a killteam like this. Great Job! I have a snow base theme fleshtearers army that would look good on a killteam board like this. I might have to try something like this.

I think there should be places where you could see that the space bears were hibernating or still hibernating ones! Could be really neat

The new kill team Dataslate gives most of the space marine kill teams an additional warrior so Jazza will have to get another space bear for the battle report with Dave.
Way back when, they might've used asbestos for the snow. I'm glad it's something else nowadays.
I wonder if using a finer sieve would make for a lighter cover initially. Or perhaps you could use some vacuum to retrieve some of the stuff.
Piling on loads like that seems a bit wasteful and-or messy.

Mini question
I need to fill a vertical space and idk how…it’s a lamp that I want to turn into a castles Tourette but too much open space (and will still need to be able to pick it up) but need it round so foam isn’t idea…ideas?
It would depend on how much "open space" you were looking to fill, but cardboard cylinders come in many sizes and are lightweight. Plus cutting and carving is reasonably easy.
What kind of product are you guys using for the snow? I tend to have a hard time finding something that looks good in scale...

@@daetol95 Two things,
1) the height of the pillars + toppers/ceilings is 3", which is the height that starts causing fall damage.
2)The other part is that the base set was designed for people who couldn't get their hands on the original starter set. This means with the paid files you'll get instructions and pieces to match your builds for all the terrain layout cards/setups that come in the rules.

Am I the only one who wishes they would respect the danger of the materials and wear proper PPE? Le sigh. Please use protective gear and be careful toxic materials should be respected.
Even just a basic dust mask and gloves would help a lot.

I absolutely love how every build video somehow ends up with everyone in it. Even if they aren't meant to be there in the beginning. Ot makes things so natural and dynamic.
Gotta admit, this actually looks VERY much like it could also be excavated DWEMER Ruins from Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms (The Skyrim based Minis Wargame from Modiphius - you guys should check it out!)
If you made a mini diorama scene, took some high res pictures, and used them as the background in the game play sessions...that would be pretty cool!

Quick tip: use a vacuum cleaner instead of an airbrush. Or use them together, to minimise the amount of particles in the air

Cool board :-D PLEASE use masks and proper ventilation so those microfibers don't get in yout lungs. Your body cannot dissolve them, so can potentially kill you. And I would really like to see more of your stuff with my son!

Techically speaking you could just spray the base pink, say it's a slaneesh world into the warp and call it a day. 20seconds lore friendly build.
