I always like the nurgle chaos chosen.They are so badass to me,and their voice too,not to mention they are very tanky.And all of them have poison attack.They are rotten like hell but rediculously powerful.
I like the idea in 40k that Nurgle Chaos Space Marines essentially get fused with their armour from all the growths and 'blessings'. I imagine it'd be the same for these fellows, so they literally are walking suits of rotting, fleshy armour wholly intent on spreading the Gifts of Grandfather Nurgle.
Well they are the best infantry unit in the game only beaten by the hell-forged host and by the infernal ironsworn but only if those get their three volleys in
Pretty sure warriors also have special voice lines depending who your starting lord is, example if you play Festus they can say "Old saw bones provides!" and more
@@vicsvinny8123 that might be true but when it comes to total war there always seems to be this set of voice actors they get that really miss the mark on sounding evil or really gruff. They sound just bored or they just lack that weight and or creepyness I'd expect from some of these characters. Especially the chaotic chosen.
chosen of any kind have always been the one unit i absolutely love in the chaos roster because they are so massive, look so cool and have such crushing strength behind each blow that i've been able to make nurgle chosen great weapons do more damage per hit than a minotaur unit and there's 80 of em in a unit. i've made khorne chosen dual weapons the best assassin characters in the game as they melted foot characters in such a short time it was honestly insane. Slaanesh chosen with scourges are some of the best line holding anti-cav staunch line of whips i've ever seen and tzeentch chosen have the best drip and infinite health with their barrier and are also the best savage orc/demon killers in the game because of magic attacks
Fitting as they are the Chosen of the Dark Gods of Chaos. You don't get to that point in life without being the literal best of the Chaotic best. I like to imagine that a couple of those models in the Chosen unit that you've had for the majority of the campaign, do eventually get their final reward from their chosen Deity. Whether that be Daemonhood (in one form or another), or Chaos Spawn.

Chaos has the best lines imo
The 'Bad Guys' always get the best weapons, the best looking minions, the best secret lairs, and the best quotes. "In Ruination's Name!"
