- I avsnitt 3 av Under Bar Himmel så åker jag upp till Marsfjäll och Saxnäs för att möta upp norrskensjägaren Jonna Jinton. Jonna bor i Grundtjärn men har drömt om att en gång få sova en natt under bar himmel i Marsfjäll.
Dagen innan jag kom upp hade Jonna scoutat fram en vacker plats där vi kunde se de mäktiga fjällen och prognosen lovade både hög aktivitet från solen samt stjärnklart vilket betyder norrsken.
Vi packade två pulkor. En med ved och en med kamerautrustning, spadar och sovsäckar. Vi lastade in i bilarna och begav oss mot destinationen.
Det var en väldigt blåsig dag. Men vi grävde en djup snögrop som skyddade oss från vinden och som vi hade en mäktig utkik från.
Jonna visade hur man tar en time laps och fotar ett norrsken så att man får den fina filmen som ni ser i videon här.
Till middag stekte vi röding som fiskats upp tidigare under dagen och till frukost så invigde Jonna sitt älg-mackjärn och bjöd på varma-mackor och whiskey.
Det var ett magiskt äventyr och jag hoppas att ni tycker om avsnittet.

It was delightful seeing you guys there in the middle of mother wise gorgeous nature. Jona, it's such a pleasure to listen to you talking about your bond to nature. The herding calls were the best part 😆👏
Jonna compared my herding calls to the sound a husky puppy make when learning how to howl 😂😂😂
Unfortunately, I can't understand Swedish at all (therefore subtitle helped me a lot) it was so nice to hear Jonna speak in her native language. It was so natural. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!

I came from Jonna. Subscriber now here too Jonas. I love Sweden, an de the Swedish people. I was long time ago in Sweden. Learned one thing for sure... Swedish Winters are very cold. Swedish people are the opposite. Welcoming and caring for strangers. I will never forget.

I can’t even think in my wildest dream to sleep in the night on a snow bed surrounded by snow only but loved the way Jonna cuddled herself in a warm sleeping bag and the way you lit the fire to cook all under the open sky in coldest weather to shoot the northern light. Wish i can visit Sweden or Norway or Finland one day to see the northern light. I just started watching your videos for four five days and already feel I am part of you and love to listen to your language . God bless both of you❤️

I really can't stop watching this video... again and again... At least to hear this beautiful language, it's sounds like music to my ears. And I really think of a vacation in Mai or June to the north of sweden... I've got a crush 🥰 never felt such deeply longing from within to be somewhere. It's just like being homesick to an area I've never been before. Magic! 😊 Maybe I'll try to get to Sweden this year... Not sure how it's going to be with Cor..Vi... and all the restrictions 🤔 nevertheless it will be worth it ♥️
Hope you're ready to face the millions of mosquitos in the wilderness if you're coming in the summer. You never really see them in these kinds of videos :P
If you go to the mountains in August (at least the mountains around Jämtland area, can't speak for the very north of Sweden), there are almost no mosquitos anymore then.

I remember Sofia Jannok saying the same in a Ted Talks video, oh my heart! || The scenery reminds me of a part of Alaska near where I used to live, I could show you pictures and you'd probably think it was taken there in Marsfjaellen; Sweden has so very much captured my heart!
