    Great video! I have been using a V11 since October last year. What a great purchase and life saver this vacuum is. Just perfect cleaning of floors, fans, cabinets, closets and every other spot you can find in a home. I got it for my mother as a result of her growing back pains. She doesn’t keep a maid as she likes to do the chores herself to keep herself busy and active. This Dyson perfectly aided her in that. The floors feel so light and free to walk on after a good vacuum and mop.

    Finally the Dyson review Saumya. I think you almost covered every aspect of it and also some ways that one could use it( especially the skirting). Its a wise choice to go with V10 as you mentioned it doesn't vary much with V11(bit heavier too). I hope your are enjoying the cleaning except for the weight. Saumya just a suggestion for the list. Im thinking about some speakers/integrated sound systems kind of. Would be helpful if you had any thoughts about it in your bucket list.

      @@TheGrapevineIndia Indeed. Its a great piece. Two drawbacks - (1) the bin is slightly smaller (a price you pay to keep it lighter) and (2) they have taken out 2 parts as part of a standard kit (the flexible pipe + the up-top adaptor which I had to buy separately.

    What exactly is the suction power in kpa at the different settings? How is the noise level? Once fully charged, is there an indication of this. Also, does the change drain off in unused state?
    It may have it's uses, but is simply way too expensive!!

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anitha, so the published suction power is generally at the highest most powerful setting. They don't publish what it is at lower settings, but I expect it to be between 50-75% of the max setting. I rarely use the max setting, unless it is for stubborn dirt like in sofas not cleaned for ages.
      Noise level is equivalent or slightly lower than a canister vacuum if you are using one.
      Yes, once fully charged, the charging lights show the level. I have not seen it being drained in unused state.
      Agreed, it's quite expensive. But to me, it makes the cleaning so much more accessible. Rather than doing one deep clean session, I can now break it down to a few minutes every few days.

    Thanks for the video. Q. Does a vacuum cleaner work in a humid environment? The reason for asking is that dust usually sticks in such an environment and I wonder if even the most powerful domestic vacuum cleaner would be able to suck the dust out. Please advise.

    I have both too... but the main reason I bought the dyson was due to my asthma. But when we expel the garbage into the dustbin, the fine dust does rise up. So I end up getting exposed to it anyway. I do hope they come up with an upgrade where we get zero contact with the dust.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi @Writers Inc. yeah that’s an issue. One trick i follow is cover the front with a dust bin cover and open it inside the cover itself. So the dust does not come out. Try it out 😀 I keep one separate cover for emptying out my robot vacuum and Dyson bins for exactly this reason.

    I have a v11 and a 20 year old Mielle. The dyson is a pain in the ass, have to mollycoddle the thing and it's uncomfortable to use. The handle is not ergonomic and my trigger finger rubs off the finger guard. within two years the motor head broke and the trigger failed, both fixed under warranty, don't expect to last much longer. but the Mielle has never had a issue and I now use it more often. wish I never bought the v11. power cable and bags are just a better overall system especially when you buy from a quality maker

      Hi @P Mc - Thanks for sharing your feedback! I do hope I don't face such issues. Coming from a corded vacuum cleaner - I find the dyson quite convenient. Since the corded vacuum was so cumbersome to use and clean (the dust bag), I barely even removed my corded vacuum cleaner from it's resting place.

      Hi! I’m so delighted you’ve mentioned Miele! I’m looking at getting one and not the Dyson! Any specific model for Miele you could recommend pls?

    Grab omni glide for 19k. Steal deal. Don't waste money on higher versions.

      @@anshagarwal8349 if you don't have carpet, then omni glide is best option. AW doesn't play too much role, it is the attachment. I was also confused with v10/11 but when i checked vacuum wars and other vacuum cleaner channels then i understand i don't need v10/11. Rest you can decide.
