I think the way X's inventions work is he creates things that are complicated and useless but inadvertently end up doing something else that helps him. Like he made a blimp that turns on by self destructing, which is useless for actually using it to fly but ended up stopping the raid. Which is why his visual motif is the butterfly effect, his inventions that seem useless now always end up having a useful effect later.

So i suggested them as the 5* are also pretty nice and some beginner 6* like Druvis didn’t get a trailer. Expect Sonetto and X all trailers are 6* only. What drown me to Reverse was the unique art style they had in their AD - also that Tennant short ^^ But what let me stayed was the story the current story arc what also include 6 and Isolde is on the same lv as Penacony. Where HSR is humorous with breaks of heavier topics - Reverse is the other way around. Also please play EN as only their they have accent and speak in their mother language something you can’t get with jp/CN. Like Isolde and Kakania talk to each other in german
omg thank you for encouraging me to watch these trailers!! i had so much fun. i love r1999's roster of characters and now i'm wondering why i waited so long to give it a try. but now i know!! also what you're saying is isolde's story arc will make me cry... i see, i see, i see how it is LMAO. i definitely will be playing this in EN. the representation in all the VAs is so freakin' cool, and i definitely want to support that!
Also, just to reassure you The daily time needed to farm resources in this game is 30 minutes at maximum. It can go even shorter depending on your built teams since there IS an auto play function (and a REPLAY function for farming resources) So think of this game as a side game. The only time you really need to spend an hour or two on this game is for appreciating the main and event stories (or beating end game content and challenges) So it doesnt clash with my grind whenever i play WuWa Genshin HSR or ZZZ because of how less strict they are on the gameplay
For early players, theres a lot of stories/chapters to cover on so they could play for more than an hour or so but for endgame players, 5-20 minutes is all you need (not considering the event stories or event games.)

Each chapter in the main story takes quite a bit of time, usually 4-5 hours. There are some particularly long chapters like 5, 6 and 7 where it might take 8-10 hours to do. It really comes down to if your units are strong or lackluster, the strength of your units really can shorten the time or heavily increase the time you spend on each chapter. Character stories (or anecdotes) are about 1-2 hours long. The prologue in the game takes like 30-40 minutes and chapter 1 takes 2 hours and a half to do. Most of us share the sentiment that chapter 2 is where it starts to get good and chapter 3 is where most people got hooked into the story. Dailies takes about 15 minutes for newbies to do, but it will get to the point where is takes less than 4 minutes to complete them. It's really only the main story that take up time, so it's probably better to play them in 2-3 parts instead trying to complete the chapter all at once.

However, that mutation also causes them to be more susceptible to mental disorders. So with all that alongside the poor info about mental health during the past eras, you now have isolde who badly cares about her image as a noble trying out dubious treatments for her condition.

The 5 star that the chat talked about was the wolf guy lol his name is Pavia. A Knight and some other 6 star characters didn't have trailers as they were in the regular banner pulls since the start. Most of these characters trailers are to introduce new characters in each new patch. So you can expect more 6 stars in the game than just these guys. Hope you would play R99 for real!❤

getting a specific character in the Standard Banner is pretty hard as after every 3 patch the limited characters gets added on in the Standard Banner - so with the upcoming 1.8 you will also have the limited chars from 1.1-1.6 in the Standard Banner. Beside the Event Banner there is a rate up Banner for a specific 6* like Anathi said so its better to wait

Its great to see genuine interest and excitement in this - i adore how reverse 1999 is strong in its realistic, gritty and grounded setting mixed with their own twist of fantasy that allows that representation to shine! (I still find it funny that pretty boy Ezra seems to be mistaken as a girl every time - its a literal plot point in the event story he is featured in and Spathodea got caught in it lol) If Genshin is that escapist, idyllic and fantastical dreamy quest to immerse in and honkai star rail is that sci-fi modern galactic neverending adventure, then reverse would be that steampunk filled, historical semi realistic/semi fantasy mission to seek answers and overcome the ongoing crisis from overtaking the world... I love all of them equally for their uniquity Regading that rat in melania's trailer, one of her skills in combat features rats and youll notice when you play that the human arcanists (playable characters) all have their own animal forms they change into; melania into a flying squirrel, kalaa bauna into a tiger, sotheby into a flying sheep, 36 into a dolphin and so much more!

Sadly you missed out on Isolde by a few days ^^ Her story is pretty rough and not even finished as we have to wait 2 patches before main story goes on
