... This was when we British could still buy new copies/books of Redwall in the book stores. (lol, bitter much?)
I found this amongst my tape collection when I needed to find something to record Death Note I & II (live action version) that was on TV back to back (DVDs can only record 4hrs top while a tape can usally hold 6hrs). This is an OLLLD tape, even before I recorded this so I'm sorry for the picture qaulity messing up (you can still hear whats going on at least. With DVDs they just skip and f*** up so easily)

I'm finding my interest in the redwall books is waning. I still very much enjoy reading the older ones, but I don't get exited anymore to hear about new books coming out.

How is it that Brian Jacques was never dubbed as the Middle Ground Between Tolkien and Lewis? Seriously compare and contrast Tolkien and Lewis with their writing styles and Brian Jacques's works feel like the best of both authors. C.S. Lewis loved the works of Beatrix Potter to the day he died. Tolkien was never fond of modern technology, and had an abiding love of nature and simplicity. My only minor nitpick with Jacques is that like Hyrule in Zelda games, the map of Mossflower rearranges to some degree with every book.
I... hope they never make the books into movies. The stories have magic as books. Movies just don't have that magic.
I wish that there was a place to watch some of the interviews of Brian Jacques during the American showings of Redwall. Anybody else remember them?

Its sad when I hear people say they're losing interest in Redwall. I'm still looking forward to all the new ones! Though maybe its because I haven't been a fan of it for as long? ...I don't know. Meh.

I hate to say this, but the Redwall books haven't been as good as they used to. It might not be a matter of Brian Jacques' skill, but more of our interest as we become older. Plus, he hasn't written about the original characters for a long time.
Will they be Six the musical redwall girls starring Slagar the Cruel as Henry the 8th, Sela Vixen as Catherine of Aragon(No Way)(divorced), Wild Ivy as Anne Boleyn(Don't Lose Ur Head)(beheaded), Cornflower Fieldmouse as Jane Seymour(Heart of Stone)(died), Jess Squirrel as Anna of Cleves(Get Down)(divorced), Laterose of Noonvale as Katherine Howard(All You Wanna Do)(beheaded) and Celandine as Catherine Parr(I Don't Need Your Love)(survived) with songs like Ex-Wives, No Way, Don't Lose Ur Head, Heart of Stone, Haus of Holbein, Get Down, All You Wanna Do, I Don't Need Your Love, and Six on your TH-cam? Please!
@Jehosh27 Sometimes you are right, movie adaptations of books (especially those considered children's books) have a record of being inferior. However sometimes movies can bring attention to the books, like I just watched Legend of the Gaurdians: Owls of Ga'Hool and now I want to read the book series.
As much as I enjoy his work, there is one film in particular that I saw that was better than the book originally written. That would be JAWS.
