Right now is that there is nothing preventing a predator from claiming they are trans, and entering women's spaces because they want to be predators. They might not even want to rape or attack, they might just want to creep on women, or they might simply love the power over women this gives them.
And if women are worried about this, they need to 'get over it' or they are transphobes, or bigots, or whatever you want to call them.

The left loves to paint this as some kind of incredibly unlikely scenario, but they can't do anything to dispute it because THEY set the rule that you are not allowed to question someone's professed gender identity for any reason. In other words, our primary way of preventing predators is to recognize predator behavior. This is predator behavior that is not universally recognized as such... yet. It will be.
The thing about him asking for proof is that he wouldn't accept anything as proof unless it supports his argument. He will always exclude those who did something that goes against the narrative as "not really trans" or whatever. So there could never be proof that would satisfy him.
A trans person does something inappropriate in a women's restroom? Well, they weren't "really trans" if they did that. "They were just a cis guy pretending to be trans to get in there! It doesn't count! No trans people have ever done that!"
Same goes for when one changes their minds and regrets getting all the hormone shots, surgeries, etc. They weren't "really trans! They were just confused and thought they were! So therefore no trans people end up regretting it."

It's simple. All these spaces are "sex-based" spaces. Not "gender identity" spaces.
The sophists and the ideologues took advantage of the fact that most people use "sex" and "gender" synonymously, claimed every sex-based space was a "gender"-based space, and then injected their new definition of "gender" as a social construct of whatever anyone decides it means and/or a self-defined thing. And then claimed that excluding anyone from a newly invented category of "gender identity" was bigoted, unfair, and "rights-denying" discrimination.
Bathrooms, locker-rooms, sports, prisons, female safe-houses, women-only spas/saunas, and other such spaces are SEX-based. Defined wholly on your biological sex. And for the people with Sexual Disorders like intersex, Swyer's Syndrome, etc. are not an issue with these spaces, nor have they been. These exceptions still produce phenotypical male or female people, who have no issue identifying and living as one sex or the other.
If women feel uncomfortable while using the bathroom around men then that's all the data I need.

Men should have told women to get over it when they wanted to enter gentlemen’s clubs and other male only spaces. Now that they have argued men aren’t allowed to have men only spaces, they cannot argue that women should.

Well there is data, but not academic data which is what I think Jaffe is looking for. Academia is not interested in any real data on trans people that doesn't support them in a positive way. All we have are news articles that people have to look up that may have been deleted. Even so I don't think he'll budge since he seems to just like being right.

You really don't need hard data to legitimate a right to privacy and that is ultimately what this guy is trying to speak against.
Bathrooms are separated based on a guilty until proven innocent framework in the first place and it is done for the very reasons explained, at least in part. He argues that trans women aren't men but doesn't seem to speak that we should just let men into the bathrooms. Just completely desegregate them. Well, why not? Men aren't dangerous a-holes, right? Does he have data of men assaulting women in their bathrooms in droves?
See, I neither need data nor do I care to have a pretty good sense that that is what would happen if that were done with our culture operating the way it does. I've heard of unisex bathrooms in other countries but other countries are nurtured under different cultural expectations and those don't just change nor should necessarily be made to just because they arguably could.
See, our bathroom system works for the reasons it does. There's never been a reason to change it until this new kind of thing came along and why should it be made to? Because they have a personal comfort issue whilst also placing the vast majority at risk?
And what's funny is that this guy's argument is the same as hers. That we need to accommodate the feelings of the trans.
The difference is there's no extra risk to the trans people being placed on them. You are, however, placing special risk on the women and it's a sense of risk that is well justified. That's why his argument doesn't work. It's an emotional appeal argument that carries no confirmably extra risk for them to use a normal bathroom and there are other alternatives such as making gender neutral bathrooms for them. But to let them into normal bathrooms under their chosen gender presumes they're the only ones that will use them.
See, he focuses his argument on innocent until proven guilty trans women. Okay... But how do we keep the ones that'd take advantage of that out? See, we can't. All risk on the women but not the trans who biologically have a better chance to fight back if they are attacked comparitively.

I think public restrooms are already some of the most unsafe places and we're arguing the wrong things with this trans stuff the only thing I see there is it's not gonna make anything better maybe we should pass laws to make the places safer period retool the stalls and whatnot have an open washroom separate from the toilets and a 1 person private washroom for use as needed for when washing hands isn't gonna cut or I'm sure there's a million better ways than what we do now

I put my money into side scrollers from the very beginning. I like criag. I believed he was in it for a good time, I still do but his constant attack on the trans community has made me pull funding. I can't sit here and think that his agenda isn't supportive of people like me and the people I know and love.
