I'm enjoying building it in survival. It is a challenge but is worth while and I even got all the resources just a few blocks from each other
built this in survival. Had to travel 4k blocks every 30 seconds into the video to find one of the exotic items you kept using but it was really fun to finish

I collected all materials beforehand then started building, took 12h or so. Total time for mats maybe 24h. Really painful but rewarding since I did this in modded mc with a lot better blocks and decorations

Okay, this is top notch stuff right here.
This guy gets right to the point, explains everything clearly, makes it very easy to understand, does a great job of leading you through it, goes at a steady pace the whole time, keeps focus on the project, gives a material list, IN the description, and all around is the greatest example of how to provide good content to the viewers, and demonstrates how to EARN subscribers.

Might be the fact I’m probably on a different version but I couldn’t do the ladders on trap doors thing 😭
But other than that, amazing build! Both inside and out! It was fun to modify to my own touch a little as well
I’m on bedrock, so the trapdoor ladder didn’t work either, so I used vertical barrels as an alternative

Same - until I got my 11 year old to show me what I was doing wrong. The ladders have to be placed on the other side of the trapdoor.

This video explains everything great, plus it looks super dope! I have only one concern, but it's my own personal liking so it doesn't matter. There is so much storage space! It's great if this is the only world you're using for a long period of time. But I usually build things and then it gets boring so I don't need much storage. And don't get me wrong, storage is great to have, but you went a little overboard. It's overwhelming.

Just finished building this all in survival, took 30+ hours and wayyy to many materials but in the end was totally worth it
Just to add for bedrock, you cannot place ladders on the trapdoors so you will have to figure a way out for that.
That is true, yes, as well as the inability to place signs on item frames, but if there is a way, I'd really like to know!

idk if it says later in the vdeo but if you put a chest under the carpet where the cat sits it will like to sit there, as cats like to sit on chests.
This also means if the cat is running around it will casually run over to the bed and sit on it.
Just a nice little detail.

I am in love with this house, and am building it in my realm (thank the block gods that we agreed everyone could have creative access for building houses or community features) and was a little stuck about the ladders to gwt to the attic. I didn't realize you can't place them on trapdoors in bedrock. It's all good, you adapt and keep moving. Absolutely in love with this!

Gonna start collecting materials for this build tomorrow I'm going to replace the Nether portal with more storage I think because I've got a portal build already
When I was doing the stairs I had to destroy some of the chests so I can build up the stairs so I have 4😮💨🤦
So I'm just gonna have 4 chests in the storage room.. however in the right I have 5 chests placed up but to the left where the stairs are I have 4 because the chests were in the way so I couldn't build the stairs so I had to destroy.... unfortunately 🥺

I finished the shell and it reminded how much I love placing doors underwater for all that terracotta.
So happy I built this in survival and literally the best build ever had to travel 3K blocks to get the terra-cotta lol
doing this on a survival realm was a few days work but i had a blast building it and learning new ways to style tysm
So I decided to try and build this in survival mode with your step-by-step instructions and taking the time to do the fly arounds I was able to copy it successfully the only issue that I had was all the wood/brick i hadta get lmao
Probably gonna turn that smaller bedroom into the survivalist room, or just added storage, and instead of having 4 spare beds in that upper room have it just be a separate spare one. May turn where the survivalist room is into like a living room/den. But good floor plan otherwise
I pulled a dumb dumb and was using infested stone bricks for all the interior walls :O I think I fixed them all but who really knows.. guess I'll find out lolol

After 3 days in survival, I have finally finished.

I’m not sure how to fix the ladders not going on the trap doors :( maybe a new update thing that’s stopping it
I dealt with the lighting issue via shroomlights and carpets if that works for anyone else.
If you play bedrock you will have to use a piston to get the chests separate

Have they changed it so so you can't put signs over the top of the item frame with slab to make the doors by the furnace as it's not letting me do that!
